The St. Regis Budapest

Wonderful room with upstairs bedroom, downstairs living area, luxurious bathroom, 2 big screen TVs, great minibar with good wines and snacks, superb restaurants on the premises, pleasing aroma in the lobby. Staff is professional, welcoming and helpful.

This was an amazingly pleasing stay for us. We would only ask that a railing be put in for the stairs that lead to and from the bedroom. It is hazardous to go downstairs to the bathroom (especially at night) without it.

The location

first the website recently changed was very misleading the entrance is small and the entire place is dark and not friendly. The front desk employees looked annoyed to have to help with the "Guest PC" since the keyboard was not easy. Look old & overprice

Great location and amazing housekeeping staff! Loved the bathroom and bath products as well.

You can hear the music from the lounge in your room at night. Also there were several lightbulbs out in the room.

Nice modern hotel.

Room was always cleaned properly. Room was dark. Some lights in room did not work.

The hotel's location was optimal. The day staff were generously helpful.

We discovered bugs in our room at night. The staff's solution, "What would you like to do?" A 5-star hotel should not ask the guest for the solution but should do their best to make the situation correct/better. We asked to move rooms & they assisted us.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the espresso machine in the room and selection of lounge music available through the in room entertainment system. Heated floors in the bathroom were also a great touch.

Friday and Saturday night we could hear the noise from the nightclub. Some of the design features of the room were beautiful, but impractical - bedside lights; the design of the shower in the bathroom leaked no matter what we did.

Our check in was seamless, excellent. The staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful. I am very familiar with Budapest, and this was an excellent location with lots of shopping, dining, and sights all within EASY walking distance.

Only one thing - the bathroom - my husband would have preferred a door to the whole bath area, not only the WC, and we would have wished for more towels than just 2 bath towels. I'm sure if we rang up they would have provided them,however.

Terrific location. Near city center, close to shopping, bar district, everything you could want. Fantastic hotel exterior, decent little crowded interior reception area / not grand but nice. Rooms were very spacious / two floors with 2 bathrooms.

I noticed when I got to my room I could push the door open without the key. Called front desk they sent up maintenance. He worked on the door for 10 min and said its fine. Door entire time was wide open multiple times during my trip. Not OK / Good.
