D50 Hotel

Good hotel on the quiet district of Budapest. Easy access to city center by few metro stations. The personnel was very helpful and friendly and they serve a good coffee in the lobby bar.

Front desk staff very helpful, clean, breakfast included.

The property was clean and well-maintained

One thing I didn’t like was that the TV channels were mostly in the local language. There was only one English-language channel for kids.

Very clean and nice place. Breakfast is superb. Great location near Heroes square and yellow metro line.

The breakfast was fantastic. the location on the second floor was perfect.

Great service from the young man at the front desk. Good location to the hop on hop off bus. The room was clean and great selection at breakfast.

The hotel is perfectly located, easy to find, and offers secure parking. The rooms are large, spacious, with high ceilings, and extremely comfortable. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and is very peaceful. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options. We would be happy to return!

We truly regretted staying only one night!

Easy 20-30min walk from Keleti railway station. Newly renovated and fitted building . Our spacious room had a sink, microwave, coffee machine and fridge which was appreciated. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. Shops and cafes and restaurants are close by. The breakfast had something for everyone. The hotel is run well and we enjoyed our one night stay. Would recommend.

The room was very spacious, bed a little firm for my liking but ok. Breakfast very good, a variety of different dishes to chose from, nice pleasant room to sit it. Parking was very good, we parked in the courtyard at the back of hotel, easy access

Unfortunately the shower leaked over the floor in bathroom, gap in shower doors . A pet hate is silly sized towels, please please get bigger bath towels

Perfect location, clean, perfect parking, Good breakfast

A lovely beginning ... We arrived in the evening to a warm welcome. The room was spacious and nice. Breakfast the next morning was quite nice, with several healthy options we appreciated. We were glad to see soy milk and a variety of choices since we don’t eat eggs, meat, or fish. The selection was versatile, and the staff was friendly.

... that ended in huge disappointment. Since we were exhausted from our flight, we didn’t check the WiFi right away. At some point in our first evening, there was a power outage in the hotel, which lasted until the early morning hours. In the second day, in the afternoon, when we really needed to work, the WiFi was not working:(. The manager at reception was kind but unable to resolve the issue. Another receptionist suggested working from the cafeteria, but when I went to check, the area was uncomfortably cold. The hotel consistently failed to provide a functional internet connection throughout our stay.

First time here, but not last for sure. We have been in many hotels in BP, but so far D50 was the best. Location excellent, rooms are superb and breakfast was excellent, tasty and varied day after day. The staff is very helpful. So dear D50 employees, well done ?

24 staffing at the front desk; made sure a taxi was ready at 1:30 am to get me to the airport, even on a holiday! Convenient to the train station, parks, museums. Extravagantly spacious room. Spotlessly Clean. Historic facade, but totally modern interior.

The breakfast was fine, but not exceptional. Food is fresh in the early hours and kid if dry by the end.

Housekeeping could be better

Breakfast was a buffet with multiple options from cereal to self cooked pancakes: deli type items, pastries, toasting breads etc. the cooked elements like scrabbled eggs and sausages were uninspiring but adequate. Coffee machine was good with a flag button that changed all the options to guest languages. But if the hotel was busy one machine might be slow. However breakfast is from 7-10 so this may be ok if guests stagger their eating. off road protected car parking is a real bonus at Euro 15 per night although we had been told it would be 12 Euro.The non smoking interior made the hotel seem fresh and clean

The room temperature seemed set on 25c and we could not work out how to adjust it. we slept with the window open on night one then turned the heating off all together for the other nights.The bar is soulless. The shower cubicle in the room was very small so if a guest is a larger person it might be inadequate.

Everything. The hotel is brand new and positioned in a quiet neighbourhood also very close to famous Hero’s square and just couple of minutes far away from the nearest metro station. The rooms are spacious, luminous, extremely clean and tidy. The beds are super comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful and they speak very good English. We were let to leave our car parked in the hotel all day long on the day when we were leaving.
