Hotel Foldana

Rooms are spacious. Bed is comfortable. There's a smart tv which is a nice addition.

Not clean at all. Carpet stains, leftover used tissues in the closet, you have to constantly ask for shampoo and towels. Fitness center is a joke, there's w weird cable machine in a very small room that is very warm you can't catch your breath. Bad location, not possible to walk anywhere. I have never been in a hotel where you have to pay for your coffee. No free coffee and tea refills. The mini bar fridge doesn't work. Can't believe it's a 4 star hotel.

The price was decent. The staff was friendly.

We stayed in an apartment that had two rooms and a living room. Only the living room had an AC, the bedrooms had no AC and no fans, in the summer its almost unbearable. When booking it said there is air conditioning, but it didn't specify. My room had a lot of ants. The surrounding area is not nice and the location is relatively far from the city center, not too far but there were similar priced apartments in the city center.

The room was very big, the beds were really comfortable (the couch bed wasn't so but it's ok), the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal, the room was quite, the staff was friendly

The room could have been cleanier, the location wasn't bad but there is nothing to do around the hotel, the breakfast was too basic and too expensive (we didn't have hotels breakfast but we checked it out and it was not worth 15€ per person)

It was the lack of communication. We arrived after midnight which was fine with them. However the pull out bed was broken, it was at the foot part, it was not staying up , I took video of it and decided to report it the next day. The next day, I showed the video to the lady at the front desk before we left for Hungaroring Circuit for Formula 1. We got back and the same lady said it’s all fixed. I was initially impressed , for the prompt response. We started from July 30 to August 5, I added one more day, so I was told to check out on the first one and check in again for additional day. Nothing was ever said to us at all during our first check out that we have an outstanding €200 for the broken bed. When we checked out at after midnight of the 6th we were told by the front desk to pay €200 for the broken bed. I was flabbergasted! First of all it felt like a tourist trap. I didn’t have time to argue on it because the day supervisor wasn’t there and we were rushing to the airport. However the least they could have done, is informed us that we are responsible of any broken equipment before check in that way I can check everything with them , the lights, bathroom or bed before we even lay on it. I was actually impressed by how clean it is. The bed mattress hurt my back every night but I never complained, it was too firm.Most appliance I saw was IKEA, nothing wrong with IKEA, however they are not very sturdy though and probably the management did not realize that the foot of the pull out was cracked and wasn’t staying up. Travelled in Europe several times but this is my first issue from a hotel.

Decent hotel located in a quiet area. You can drive to most attractions in just a couple of minutes. Hotel is clean, room is decent, comfy beds. Breakfast is ok. Overall experience is satisfactory.

Perfect family location for the Grand Prix! Slightly outside the city, but still close enough. Good set up with aircon and washing machine - we stayed at the apartment not hotel room!

Quiet area, plenty of public transportantion in the area, private underground parking, AC seems to work without "presence".

The first thing is the welcoming and warm hearted staff all of them from morning until night ( without exception ) they are one of the main reasons for me to extend my stay at the hotel . Comfy beds , amazing spacious clean toilets and showers , cleaning team make the room perfectly spotless every single day .

Clean and spacious rooms. Overall the whole area is very tidy.

Too far from the center and shops. The gym is so small that it doesn't make sense for it to be part of the hotel at all. A guest activated the fire alarm at midnight, which caused a deafening noise, and the hotel did not compensate for this by reducing the price or in any other way. This is a 3-star hotel, definitely not a 4.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

There was a mouldy banana in a cupboard and sweet wrappers behind bed side table. Deeper, more careful cleaning needed.

We loved everything! Apartments were spacious, rooms were big, kitchen fully equipped, bathroom as well. Balcony was really nice for a coffee break or evening with a glass of wine. Beds were very comfortable. Location is great, few minutes walk distance from big central park and zoo. Staff was very helpful and they all speak great English.

We already rated 10, but for 10+, we would appreciate a room slippers and bathrobe. Beside that, it would be nice if the room service included at least one coffie capsule per persion per day. They gave us two, and the new one was 1.5 euros.

Our original room was onto the road and it was noisy at night but they moved us to a garden view room without issue snd it was so quiet

Where it was situated. No amenities near the property. Needed an Uber every trip.

Great size room and bathroom. Staff were very friendly throughout. Walkable location to the Thermal Baths but also a short taxi ride. Very happy about the standard of the room and facilities. Bed was super comfy.

There wasnt anything immediately near by but hotel offered food and coffee if needed. Nothing else as we stayed for one night so it was great!
