Brody House - boutique hotel

Central location, great restaurant for breakfast.The art and decor is unlike any other hotel.If I'm ever back in Budapest, I'm here again.

I loved the unique and intentional designs of each room. Everything was comfortable and very beautiful.

It was surprising to not have more assistance from the staff. There were subtle things like not having someone help us with our bags up the two flights of stairs. We also rarely saw anyone at the front desk.

Cool, laid-back shabby chic hotel in an awesome location. Rooms are thoughtfully appointed and there's info on great local restaurants, etc. Would absolutely stay there again!

There was a motion activated light leading into the dressing room & toilet area. The light was far too bright for middle if the night potty trips.

It’s so unique, spacious and well maintained. The art, and style is so refreshing. The shower was incredible! I would stay here again and again!

I wish there were an elevator to carry heavy bags

This is hands down the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The design is cozy and uniquely bohemian. The rooms I've seen are spacious and equipped with all one needs. The location is very conveniently right between the two main metro lines but in a quiet street. The staff is very helpful and lovely. I look forward to being back.

The Brody House is not your average hotel. It is an art gallery. It is a restaurant/cafe. It is history. It is the ideal location. We found the Brody House to be among the very finest hotels we have EVER stayed in!! Our room was larger than some apartments we've lived in, but with so much class and funky style!

Beautiful, colorful, boutique hotel.

Brody House was absolutely amazing! I have been to many hotels around the world but this one is the most special one amongst them all! We loved the look of it from when we saw the photos online, but in reality it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, tall and stylish, giving it a nice vibe from the moment you get in, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Nice and spacious bathtub too! We had both brunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was really tasty, but expect it to be a little expensive. We also enjoyed the signature cocktails of Beni Fulesi who participates in 2025 in the World Class Cocktail Festival. All in all, we had an absolutely fantastic time and we will stay at Brody House every time we come again to Budapest!

Fabulous. A gorgeous, well appointed and clean suite, that was always so nice to come back to. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great, close to great food options, public transport but not overly touristed. I would return here.

Nothing. However bear in mind there is 2 flights or stairs with no lift. Also no TV if that's a problem for you.

We loved the arty vibe throughout the hotel. A shared kitchen area was an unexpected bonus, as was the honesty bar. The location was in a quieter part of the city, but within walking distance of the centre. Good transport links too.

We would have liked the independent bistro to have stayed open longer.

Fantastic building and location with a fabulous art room. Very helpful and detailed communications before arrival about key codes and instructions to get into the room. Very peaceful location with a very handy shared common kitchen. Room was warm and welcoming when we arrived and daily service to smarten the room was great. Underfloor heated bathroom was a nice touch as were the robes and the coffee pods and tea in the kitchen area. Honesty bar and fridge was also a bonus.

The rooms are beautifully designed - truly a masterpiece! We also enjoyed the common area with a bar, free coffee and tea.

Wow, we loved this place. It's absolutely beautiful. The photos on the listing can't really do it justice. It's a stunning old building with huge windows and tall ceilings. Honestly just the best place to stay in Budapest.

Having the bar open a bit more often perhaps? It wasn't open the night we arrived which was a Friday. Bit of a shame. But I think you can get breakfast there any day. Also most of the rooms have access to a kitchen, which is helpful.

Very grand, shabby chic art / boutique hotel. Our grand bedroom had an equally grand common living and kitchen area shared between two rooms. No TV (we learnt to enjoy its absence) and no lift. Great restaurant downstairs open from 8am to 4pm - the kitchen closes at 3pm. The staff seem proud to work there and show real interest in their customers - and Mary must get a special mention. Great location opposite the Hungarian National Museum. We would return to stay at Brody House without a second thought and would love to find its equivalent in each European city we visit.

The property itself and the room was excellent

We were unable to use any of the facilities in the hotel. The bar was closed Thursday and Friday and we were told we could use it on the Saturday but when we came home early as we had been told there was live music it was a private function and we again were not allowed access. We were really disappointed that the website implies that the bar and music is a key factor to be enjoyed by guests but we in fact only really had a room and none of the hotel facilities

Stumbled upon this gem in “Pest”, and found ourselves in arguably the nicest hotel/apartment we ever stayed. Artistic and immaculate interior design. Comfortable bed and very spacious rooms with views of beautiful courtyard to match. Cafe onsite served honest and delicious food in an inspiring setting. Safe neighborhood with beautiful architecture and public transportation nearby.
