Friendly staff, great location, comfortable and modern rooms. Good breakfast.

The room was big and clean. The staff was very friendly.

Indeed the room is quite big, the kitchen also helps with something, breakfast above average.

The bed is very uncomfortable, need to wait a lot of time for elevator, no loby or any public spaces, gym is closed, maybe open for you if you pay a lot of money, nobody will want to do such a thing. Most of the space of the room is used for a dining table, no sofa or something like that!

Loved the extra room in the studio. People were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The parking was appreciated and convenient Would recommend to friends.

Breakfast was average

The room was very modern and large. Good standard and comfy beds. Great design. Breakfast excellent - many local, Hungarian specialities, in addition to the regular stuff. Clean and inviting breakfast room

You chose if you want to have cleaning. We chose it on one day, but while they changed towels and bedsheets, the cleaning of floor, couches and bathroom was not very good. Also, last night we were waken up at 06:00 by incredibly loud cleaning ladies in the corridors, with the equipment. Should be easiliy avoided.

The staff was great and all spoke good English. The rooms were more than comfortable and excellant bedding and pillows. They have underground parking that is secured via a gate. There are restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was plentiful with lot of options.

The gym/workout room. There are dumbbells but no bench. Plenty of room for a bench and they're not too expensive to purchase. Internet is terrible...one bar at times.

The deluxe apartments were beautiful, clean, spacious enough and comfortable. The rooftop spa is a nice addition, our teenagers enjoyed the jacuzzi. Breakfast was good, too, and the staff helpful and welcoming.

Nothing really. The location is off the beaten path, in the less fancy neighbourhood by Keleti Station, but we enjoyed the shabby chic vibe around (and the hotel itself is beautiful and new). The train station nearby came handy as part of the group arrived by train from Vienna.

I love the fact that the ground floor room had exit to terrace. Breakfast was good as well. Staff was friendly.

Two stories room, not ideal when with kids, although spacious.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. I really appreciated how functional and well-organized everything was, making my stay much easier. The cleanliness of the room was excellent. Also, the staff were extremely kind and always smiling, which made us feel very welcome.

The air conditioning system in the room was completely out of our control. It kept turning on and off by itself and was constantly set to 15 degrees, making the room uncomfortably cold at night. Despite informing the staff several times, the problem was never resolved.

I liked how new and clean and comfortable it was.

-Some of the most common condiments were not provided and had to be bought , such as tooth paste . There were no ear picks or combs provided and the shampoo and soap were very small and slim.- the laundry being carried out by another company , made it harder to ask for the service since timeline would take longer than it should.-There’s only one elevator and took a long time to wait for it to arrive.-The breakfast wasn’t fresh and seemed preheated or kept from previous days.-the staff working the front desk weren’t all kind and helpful .-they had too many strict rules-I even found a yellow stain on a supposed fresh towel.- the fact that you couldn’t call front desk and tell them to bring room service or anything practically, I had to go personally each time all the way down to lobby many times .-

Great amenities, large rooms with modern feel and confortable beds. Nice breakfast that included fresh vegetables and fruits alongside the cold cuts and hot dishes (beans, omlette, etc).

A bit of noise from adjacent courtyard, but not too upsetting.

wanted to take a moment to commend the outstanding service I received from Miss Zsofia Vavro the front desk staff during our recent stay. I have experience visiting around 60 countries around the world. She was incredibly welcoming, warm, and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment I arrived.She went above and beyond to assist us, providing helpful information about the hotel amenities and local attractions. Her genuine smile and positive attitude truly enhanced us.Please extend my gratitude to her for her exceptional service.

A bit out of town

The hotel was modern and the staff were friendly.

Put two requests in to have the shower holder repaired, nothing was done about this. The room temp was at 27 degrees c, was told that the AC was only turned on in may, was told to sleep with the balcony door open.

The receptionist was kind enough to point out that parking in the area was free of charge on Easter Sunday & Monday and they were also very accommodating in helping us wake up my hearing-impaired mother in an adjacent room enabling us to leave bright and early.

The elevator was too slow in transporting all guests in the full hotel during our stay.

The facilities were excellent. The room really spacious and satisfying our needs. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. The location was also really good, quite at nights and really close to the Heroes Square, the Zoo and other attractions.

We stayed at the Onyx Hotel in Budapest with our family and had a wonderful experience! What stood out the most was the reception team of young women who assisted us throughout our entire stay. They were exceptionally friendly, patient, and willing to help with any question or request. The staff helped us greatly with coordinating tours around the city, recommended excellent restaurants, and were available for us at all hours. Even when we encountered small issues, we always received prompt and efficient assistance. The hotel's maintenance standards deserve special mention - all public areas and rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained. The rooms themselves are spacious, designed in a modern style, and well-equipped, making them ideal for families. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quiet, allowing us to sleep well after long days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is excellent - within walking distance of major attractions, public transportation stations, restaurants, and shops. Breakfast is varied and rich, with plenty of options for all family members. Onyx Hotel is definitely an excellent choice for families visiting Budapest, and we highly recommend it. Thanks to the spacious rooms, personalized service, and convenient location, it's a perfect base for an unforgettable family vacation in this beautiful city

Location is great (25 min to chain bridge). A lots of shops i vicinity of hotel. We didn't use public transport but there is trolleybus station very near by. Very peaceful neighborhood.
