    Pros +

    • Good location, great pools, price is reasonable
    • Great rooms, great breakfast. Service was over all good from staff. Rooms were clean.
    • Main pool for hotel guests is great, sauna too. Food was really good, for every taste and even for picky eaters there was a choice. Rooms are spacious, bed was comfortable. Big, young guy, probably staff manager on dinner and breakfast was the nicest to our two year old daughter when she had a bad moment in dinner, he gave her a baloon and a smile.

    Cons -

    • The food isn’t great, most of the staff doesn’t speak English
    • Dinner can be improved in quality. Towels don't get changed every day and you have to pay for extra towels.
    • Pools on Aquaworld were crowded, there was impossible to find a free chair or sunbed, lifeguards on both pools are extremely unpleasant and unpolite, receptionists have learned a few sentences and apologies without any meanining and repeat it on and on. Ask the guy in charge for the dinners how to be polite and nice.

It was a great location, had family rooms and the pool was great in winter.

I wish it had a shuttle into Budapest or to the airport.

    Location. Facilities excellent.

Food was a little poor comparing with other stays at the same location.

    9LauraPosted on: 1-8-2026

The hotel was very clean and had good facilities. We particularly liked the food from dinner (buffet) and breakfast. All food was tasty and fresh, including deserts. The view from the room was really nice.

The AC in the room had a noise during the night, and we had trouble sleeping, especially my son. I would have liked it to be a little warmer in the aqua park. It was decent, but maybe 1-2 degrees more would have been better. It was a particular cold day, so maybe that is part of the cause, as cold air was entering from the outside pool. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, it was not flat, but concave.

We had a very nice stay at the hotel and Aquaworld—everything was great: the food (both breakfast and dinner), the staff, and the room. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was very spacious and well designed. The main thing we loved, of course, was the spa—all the saunas, the thermal water baths, as well as the children’s facilities. We definitely plan to come back again.

    Everything was perfect

We love coming here, we come here regularly every year before Christmas and in the summer, sometimes even in spring :) we are very satisfied with almost everything even though the services and refreshments in the hotel have become quite expensive in the last year. We can always choose from the meals in the restaurant even though every year there is a smaller selection because we can compare. The first time we had a large room 2 children + 2 adults, it was great but it was cold in there even after the heating was on. It might have been pleasant for an adult but we also had a baby with us and it was very cold there after bathing.

But what I have to really criticize is the transition from the hotel to the swimming pool with a stroller. It's an endless, unnecessarily complicated way to the swimming pool. Not to mention that in one part you have to wait until they open and I always waited there for 10 minutes until someone came, once they didn't even come and the animators from the bongo club had to tell me and I really waited 15 minutes. Another thing that really disappointed us (since we first came during the week and not on the weekend) was that the hotel advertises the monkey Bongo everywhere and the children who come there during the week have no chance to meet him. Since the monkey only goes on Friday evenings and on weekends and there were already enough children there. We often go with our older son just for Bongo and he was really disappointed when he found out that Bongo wouldn't come because he was "sick" - we made that up. BUT since we asked at the Bongo club and begged them to let Bongo come (I was willing to change into a costume too just so my son wouldn't be disappointed, since that's the main reason for the visit so that the children would enjoy it) because my son had been waiting for 4 months just to meet him, one willing and very sweet animator Fanny sacrificed herself and came to work the next day in the evening just to make the children happy and put on a Bongo mask and even danced a minidisco. That made our visit significantly better and we thank Fanny very much!

Everything was great. Nice food, warm pool, slides for the kids, playground for kids. Nice staff, big rooms, extra bed as we asked. We loved the place, for sure we will return!

There is a simgle thing that I will adjust: the towels are not changed at your needs only if you pay for it. I know it is environmental friendly, but I believe in a luxurious hotel, this must be left fot the guest to decide.

    Only the water facilities!!!

Cleanliness was terrible. We would leave our rooms and come back to find them exactly as we left them! No floor cleaning, no towels changed, even though it's a recreational area with lots of swimming pools that should require changing the towels, which of course get dirty and damp every day.The food was also not good

Nice resorts for a vacation with kids. All included. Good mixture of activities.

    The crowded breakfast buffet.

    Pools and Slides was excellent

Almost all menu contains PORK - Breakfast and Dinner is VERY VERY POOR

    6RobinovichPosted on: 10-17-2025

The hotel was nice, good breakfast and dinner. The park was nice

I was dissatisfied from the water park, not because of the actual slides, but because they weren’t functional for a large part of the time.2 slides (Onion and Family) were closed for our entire visit (36hrs) and my 3 kids really wanted to use them.In addition the rest of the slides were operating for 2hrs on and 2hrs off (see image), so we had 2hrs when my 1.35 meter son just drove me crazy as he had nothing else to do.In addition the prices at the cafe next to the pool were very high for Hungary.

Very nice pools. And great slides. The room was nice.

Changing towels every three days. And more towels cost money. Strange.

    8KaitlynPosted on: 10-13-2025

The food was decent and water park was fun

The place absolute choas kids were touching food at the buffet and putting it back. Most staff was friendly but not all a few were very rude.

    pools and slides were excellent

The furniture is outdated, stains on carpets, air condition was fixed on cold even after calling to reception several times they couldn’t solve the issue.

Great location with clean rooms and aquaworld is fantastic .

We had almost nothing to eat at dinner (food was quite tasteless) and there are no drinks, unless you want to pay for it. Not even water. The staff in the dining room was far from welcoming

    8cristianPosted on: 9-15-2025

small restaurant for breakfast and dinner, food average and not much to chose from, compared to other hungarian hotels/spas.

    the restaurant.

First off, the human element was fantastic. The staff at the reception were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. At breakfast, the waiters were the true heroes of the story—despite the morning chaos, they were always patient and went out of their way to help. The main selling point, of course, is having a massive hotel and a fantastic Aquapark in the same place. The convenience is an unmissable opportunity for a family trip. You just walk out of your room and you’re there. Simple as that. The Aquapark itself is huge and very well-organized. I was really impressed to see a lifeguard or a facilitator at every single spot, which gives a parent a lot of peace of mind. The massage I got was excellent, and the food court offered a rich variety of options for lunch.

But there is a dark side to this experience, and I need to spit it out.The cleanliness, or the lack of it, was shocking. In our six days there, the carpet in our room was never vacuumed. Not once. The furniture was old, covered in scratches, and had dirty spots that looked like they’d been there for ages. The shower was in a similar state of disrepair; turning it on meant water spilled from the shower head all over the place. What? How? WHY!?!?Then there was the breakfast. It felt like the Wild Wild West. The place was constantly crowded, with long queues for everything from pancakes to the omelette station. You had to fight your own battle of survival just to get a plate of food.A few other pain points that really affected the UX of our stay:The resort is very far from the city, so any trip downtown becomes a whole operation. There's no option to get drinking water unless you buy it. In a place full of kids and activity, this feels wrong. The sunbed situation was infuriating. People would just throw a towel on a chair in the morning and occupy it for the entire day without ever using it. Nobody from the staff managed this, and it just felt… well, we felt screwed. There's no locker or safe place to leave your phone when you go to the aquapark. A massive oversight. The dinner buffet was a huge letdown. The food was generally unhealthy, and the meat was consistently overcooked to the point of being impossible to eat.Wi-fi in the hotel almost never worked.
