RES City Residence Hotel Budapest

It was in a good location, a few minutes from the metro and tram stop. The personnel was very friendly. In the room it was clean and comfortable.

The radiators weren’t working, which was a problem in winter. We were told to use air conditioning but it wasn’t warm enough. They also don’t give disposable slippers and cups for tea or coffee.

The hotel was convenient, clean, and located very close to a metro station.Overall a comfortable and easy stay.

Unfortunately, the room had no window.

It was quite and very clean the stuff was so kind

The sink in my toilet was too small this the only thing that i didnt like When you want to wash you face or hand all the floor get wet

I loved the location, very near to the grocery store and a bus stop, and area was so peaceful. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Nothing really

Very friendly and helpful stuff. Nice kitchenette for all guests with glasses, plates, forks&knives, etc.

Pillows are not comfortable.

Clean room with air conditioner and window, quiet at night. Good location near the metro and city center. Clean shower with hot water.

There was no sanitary kit, just an all purpose soap and a roll of toilet paper.

Small, quite hotel perfect for family trip to Budapest. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds. A small kitchen area with a fridge and a place to sit for breakfast or so. Supermarket and bakeries few steps away. Metro station and bus station also very close. The city park is walking distance away with loads of things to do with kids. For people coming with a car, the street parking is free in the area on weekends which was very convenient.

The place is clean, the location is close to public transportation and not far from the points of interest.

The heating in room 104 could not be turned off even though we contacted the staff and it was very hot.

It was cold in the first night, but I asked for the remote for AC and it was good in the end. I saw some street people by night close to the place which wasn't that pleasant but this is not their fault, just so you know in case you travel by yourself. And the pillow also was a bit hard to sleep on.

Excellent staff, location, confy, with Netflix. Close to the city center & the Spa Therms.They kept our luggage all the day long!

Location is good

Just avoid.Our room smelt of sewage... the shower head was broken and the water squirted everywhere then eventually fell off the hoseWe were resting in bed and somehow a random woman just got into our room . There are no locks inside the room I guess it must be automatic so she must have had a key to our room. The fridge inside was warmer than our room ... I had to throw away the cakes my godmother made me to take home with me..Staff were friendly and helpful and it's a cheap hotel but no way I would stay there again

It was clean, quiet and it was located in a nice area. Oktagon has nice cafes and shops. It's close to the New York cafe if you want to visit there. It's about a 15 minute walk to St Joseph's Basilica. Another 5 minutes then you're on Fashion Street.

The location of the hotel was very central, walking distance (20-25 mins) from the Deak Ferenc square where the airport bus terminates and also metro and buses to the main attractions and shopping areas etc. Reception staff were very helpful and efficient, for check-in and check-out and everything else in between. Whatever we asked they did their very best to accommodate our requests in a timely manner. The room and the whole common area of the hotel were very clean.

The overall space (in the room, the kitchenette and the shower) was just about tolerable as it was limited.

Staff, cleanliness and location are amazing.

The room was so small, we needed to wait for one for the other pass and the window was in the ceiling, so we woke up with the light, coz there was no cover, of course.

Everything (location is amazing) 3 min walk to metro station 20min to city park or Newyork cafeCoffee& bakery shop at doorstep while a hyper market is 3 buildings away with logic priceKids area infront the hyper market was a bonusWe arrived at night & we been asked to make self check-in online. However, everything was ready without need any human being to serve and amazing e-mail communication with all info required as part of self-service experience

Couple bottle of water and having tea or coffee will be a good hospitality from hotel side

Very good location and it was clean and comfortable.

No breakfast option on site.

We really liked the location, having a supermarket and a playground just around the corner, metro station 3 minutes and train station 20 minutes.
