Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Location was excellent.

The location is excellent, near St. Istvan Cathedral. Breakfast is superb with a large selection. Reception staff very efficient and responsive.

We had some minor issues, which were immediately handled. The thing that we would like to mention is the lunch box which we had taken on our early morning leave. We had checked our selection in a form provided to us and handed over to reception two days ahead. But the lunch box didn’t include drinks (still water) and fruits.We did not have time to report the staff, but this issue should be handled. And we are confident that it will be.

Perfect location, within walking distance to main attractions, but also 2 minutes from metro M3 station. Nice breakfast, with big variety of cold cuts, coffee machine and lots of cakes. Mulled wine at the reception is wonderful bonus

I'd like to have more warm options for the breakfast, like soft and hard boiled eggs. They have hard boiled eggs, but they are cold

Limited facilities

The staff were responsive when I had issues.

The room had an odour that felt like someone had been smoking and there was an attempt to clean the room but it had that after smell. The hotel is also inside what seems like a residential building and you have to go through random hallways and doors. Part of the building looks like a hotel, the other parts are just the old building itself.

Modern and great location

Interior of the building was similar to a maze. You had to go upstairs out to an elevator and then back inside the hotel floor using your key card multiple times.

Room is excellent

Not welcoming entrance, weird disconnected lobby setup. The facilities are alienating

Very nice hotel for reasonable price. Good location - walking distance from city center. Nice staff, beautiful and big room, comfortable bed and pillows, good breakfast. If I will be in Budapest, I will choose this hotel again.

If you have a car, there can be problems with parking. There is no many parking options near hotel.

Room was very large suite, staff was very friendly and helpful and professional.

Convenient location

i initially gave this property a 1 for review as we had an incident with the staff on site on checkout. I had the manager reach out to me several times after the stay and he profusely apologized for the inconvenience and was very kind regarding our complaint. I have therefore changed my review to reflect a higher number.

Brand new property. Clean, comfortable and chic rooms.

The building structure and entry is shared with a residential building. So the one thing I thought was off was the entry to the lobby, which is not as nice as the hotel floors and rooms. If the hotel and residential building could come to an agreement of renovations for the entry hall It would improve the place and make one feel more confident on arrival. When we arrived, while checking in, we thought to ourselves that we rented a much nicer place. But once we got upstairs to the hotel floors and rooms we were very satisfied.

AC had been shut down so room was warm. Mini fridge temperature was barely below room temp.

The property was modern (three years old), good size hotel room even by European standards, had an excellent continental Breakfast, staff were extremely friendly, and the location was excellent. Beds were comfortable to sleep on as well.

The location was excellent. It was a short walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral. This area is surrounded by a good.variety of restaurants. It's a very active area. The hotel's entry looks unimpressive, but once past the door, all is good. Nice touches throughout. The room was roomy and nicely furnished. Breakfast had reasonable.amount of choices. All in all, recommended.

Location in close to the centre of Budapest, easy access to metro and sights.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nice touch of chilled wine upon check-in or return to the hotel. Very new, modern and clean. Breakfasts were were decent and had a number of choices.

No complaints

The hotel is located in an area close to the city center and main tourist attractions, with easy access to bus, tram, and the M3 metro station.We were pleasantly surprised that, although we arrived a few hours before the official check-in time (2:00 PM), the room was made available to us immediately, without having to wait.The hotel has a terrace designated for smokers, which we, being smokers ourselves, made good use of.The breakfast was in line with the standards for this type of hotel. The selection wasn't very varied, but overall it was satisfactory.(This is strictly a personal opinion) The front desk staff were extremely polite—perhaps even too polite for my taste. Every time we passed through reception, we were greeted and asked how our day had been or whether we were enjoying our stay. While I appreciate friendliness and courtesy, I would have preferred a more discreet approach.Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I will look for this hotel when I return to Budapest. I will also recommend it to others.

Very few TV channels, with only one or two in English.Perhaps the bathroom could use more places to hang towels.

I had a wonderful stay at Mera Hotel in Budapest. The receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was cosy, quiet, and very comfortable – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail really made a difference. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest!

The breakfast was good and fresh, with lots of delicious, freshly baked pastries. However, it would have been even better with a greater variety of fruit.
