Hotel Karin

We stayed in the apartment room for two people. The room was very clean and relatively well organized. The breakfast spread was not bad.

Just after I finished and payed for my booking, I got a message from the hotel saying that the "apartment" room type is not at the address they show on booking.com. It is about more than half a kilometer far from there. So we had to walk about 10 minutes after collecting key from their reception, which is only at the address mentioned in the booking. Also, the room was small and a bit dark to our liking.

I loved that the staff was so helpful and kind. From the moment of my late-night arrival to my check-out a week later, Boglarka was the perfect example of excellent customer service. I liked that when my Hungarian failed me, she understood my English. I thought that this place had one of the best Hotel breakfasts anywhere I've been on my travels. Fresh selections every morning, including old Hungarian favorites of mine...tepertő, gyulai sausage, kifli, hot scrambled eggs, or hard boiled. Nice selection of ham, salami, cheese, and cut fresh tomatoes and sweet Hungarian peppers. Great coffee selections too.The bed was comfortable and I appreciated the nice bedding and pillows.

The ONLY very small thing that gave me pause was a circular brick staircase going up to the floor my room was on. I had a really big, 48-pound, suitcase that had to go up. Boglarka took that case from me and went up in a flash like it was nothing. I was so appreciative since I have back issues.

I was in a dependance 300 mt from hotel, parking in front of the street is not the maximun, bit you can park in main building and reach by walking. Clean , quite , breakfast is ok

Good for the price

The receptionist was polite and friendly.

It was cold in the apartment, no hot water and parking was paid (no info about it).

Quiet hotel, the room was clean, furniture was new, in fact the whole building was newly built, it was clean and nice. Breakfast was very tasty, wide selection of different food. Extra fee for parking but in the protected area, I felt safe and left things in the car with no worries. We could leave the car at the parking lot even after check-out time on the day of our departure. Thank you! :)

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very disappointing experience. The location is extremely inconvenient, making it difficult to access nearby attractions. The rooms were unpleasant and did not meet my expectations at all. Additionally, the staff took forever to respond to my messages, often reading them without providing any feedback. They were unhelpful and unwilling to make any accommodations. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and responsive stay.

The breakfast was delicious. The room is spacious. . The hotel has private parking.

It does not have big courtains, so I woke up at 6 o clock in the morning because of the light.

Very cozy and pretty place, the staff was super nice also and the breakfast good.

The bed was a bit hard and we were told we couldn’t eat in the room. And there was nothing open around

Amazing value for money! Hotel Karin in Budapest exceeded our expectations—clean, comfortable, and with excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. For the price, you won’t find a better stay in Budapest. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect. Very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, very nice staff.

Customer services was excellent. The team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was limited but fresh.

The hotel was very nice. It's quiet, warm, and clean. There is a private paid parking, and a good breakfast. One remark: the testess coffee from the vending machine and Rioba tea may spoil the overall good impression

Hotel is an oasis in a challenging neighborhood. Public transport can get you downtown but it is a distance

I liked the price, the breakfast, the stuff, nice big tv, nice design, the cleanliness, everything was nice.

The upper high floor space of the second bed is very hot (in the outside apartments ). The light of the wardrobe was switching on every time the other person on the upper floor was moving on the bed , but these things are not very serious. Everything was ok :)

I liked the simplicity but tastefulness, kindness but not pushiness, the natural colours and materials.

It's not a dislike, but I would have loved just a few more options for breakfast.

A bit far from the center

The Hotel was very cozy, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are warm and clean. They are a bit far feom center of the city but there's a bus stop right next to the hotel ant reception can also call a taxi for you.

Hotel is very comfy, a lot of wood for a homey feel. very well connected with the city with a bus that stops right in front of the hotel gate! private parking is a great plus, but I feel it should be included in the room price- you have to pay extra for parking. the breakfast was good, but if you are staying for longer, it gets boring to eat the same every day. the night manager was very friendly. was a nice experience and we would stay there again. the room was a good size plus balcony. lovely. very comfortable matress.

the bathtub was leaking and the haidryer would overheat after 20 seconds so drying your hair was a bit of a challenge. the pillows were a bit uncimfirtable, no support.

Was an overall great experience. Very clean room and breakfast area. We had a double bed and our daughter had her “own” little room upstairs.

The toilet was a bit small and almost no space. Heating is with AC.
