Location, cleanliness, super friendly staff and charm... This hotel was very charming. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat! BTW: best water pressure in Europe... insane!

The reason it's not a 10 in all, is because our shower's drain was clogged, so we couldn't take full advantage of the shower's awesome water pressure!

It is a beautiful hotel with a very good breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

My room was spacious and comfortable. The lodging is in an historical building in a quiet neighborhood and yet close to important sights, restaurants and public transportation. This breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and informative.

The breakfast is very delicious, the staff are very friendly and caring, and there is a beautiful terrace for breakfast. We really enjoyed the hotel and I highly recommend it

A former mansion, The Beletage was like stepping back in time. Between the vintage decor, antique furnishings, bountiful breakfast offerings, and the welcome by staff it was exactly what I hoped for in my first visit to Budapest. It looks like nothing special from the street but once inside the aura changes immediately into a little gem of a boutique hotel. Walking distance to tram and metro made the experience a perfect fit for my travel itinerary.

The heat was a little difficult to figure out but that was a minor inconvenience compared to everything else.

The hotel is beautiful and unique. The room was large and very comfortable. The staff went over and above to provide a great experience. The breakfast was excellent.

There was no lift, but it wasnt really a problem for us.

We felt so at home. The staff was lovely it was close to lots of good food. We were traveling with our teens and they were able to give us rooms next to each other. I would stay there again!

Cute, quiet boutique hotel. The staff were all very friendly. Lovely rooms with tall ceilings and a cute courtyard. Just a block away were 10 restaurants with outdoor seating.

It is a bit out of the center of action, but I liked it.

We loved the location, close to some great restaurants in a safe neighbourhood. We had a beautiful room that was cool and quiet with outstanding bedding!! The staff at the hotel were friendly, warm and helpful. Breakfast was superb with a beautiful lounge to eat in. We highly recommend Hotel Beletage!

Lovely small hotel, great staff, and excellent breakfast.

The old elegant hotel is great. The room is large with tall ceilings. Had all I needed. Small fridge, hot water kettle. Good AC. They even found me a fan for the room I had requested. Hedwig and Zsolt were amazing helpful and gracious. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. 24hr coffee if you so choose.

Really there is nothing I would say I did not like.

The hotel and room were very clean and quiet. The location was very central and convenient. Zsoldt at reception was very friendly and helpful giving a nice introduction to Budapest when we arrived. He also arranged airport transportation for 0400 am and made sandwiches for us the night before for our trip- so thoughtful. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay.

The whole experience was great! The main plus was the hospitality of the staff! Very friendly and, especially Zsolt, made us feel like close friends ? many thanks for that and the beautiful surprise for my wife's birthday - a personalised postcard & champagne and a song chosen for us during breakfast ? I believe this was one of the best places we've ever been so far for location, comfort, price and service: personalised guidance for check-in, the transfer from the airport was prearranged as well, nice breakfast (good coffee ?), lots of visitors advice from reception (even umbrellas for borrowing). Overall a great stay, no flaws! I was indeed pleased to find out the reviews were true.
