Staff was lovely, the room was cozy and very comfortable. The location was great, close to transit. We loved the breakfast options and how attentive the staff was during breakfast.

It was at a good location for our purposes

It is an old style hotel, overpriced for what it was. We booked it because it said it has parking. Well it had, but it was closed.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hetzel Hotel Stuttgart, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hospitality experiences I've ever had. The staff were incredibly warm, helpful, and genuinely kind — truly some of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered at any hotel. Their attentiveness made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived.The surrounding district added another layer of charm to our stay. It had a unique atmosphere — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and almost cinematic in how it gave us chills walking through it. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and take everything in.I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay near Stuttgart. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, you'll leave with fond memories and a desire to return.We are wishing the entire team all the best!

Quiet location and very comfortable hotel. Clean, with great breakfast. Staff was very helpful I was charged through booking agency and by hotel but staff called when they discovered the mistake and called me. Refunded the double charge.

Parking was a bit confusing. We arrived evening and had to search for a parking spot. Found one, so it worked out. I wish there was more room in their area for a drink but was always full. Attached restaurant was only for reserved customers. Probably not a problem outside of Cannstatt fest period.

Clean rooms modern bathroom, good breakfast, connectivity to tram, friendly staff

Nothing to complain about. We opened the windows to get some fresh air and couple of mosquitos came in...but we travelled in peak Summer.

Good blackout curtains.El. sockets and switches next to the bed.The mattress was pretty OK.Really nice staff at breakfast.

Definitely not a 4 stars hotel.For sure not 22 sqm room.... may be 12, max 15sq.mBelow average breakfast. Juice was a cheap lemonade. No complimentary water.No air-condition... to be there a 3 days before, I bath in my sweat. WiFi requests your email address (alt. Facebook or Instagram details) and your consent for sending commercials.Garbage in-front of the hotel, really 3 meters from main entrance.... whole 3 days a LOT of plastic bags with household waste. Limited parking slots.Someone threw leftover food at my car at night.May be too far from Vienna but Wiener Schnitzel was far below average and potato salad so heavy and oily.

Nice breakfast. Gerat location to reach public transportation for trips to the city center, just a few minutes walk to two different Ubahn stops. Friendly staff. Since it was so hot, I appreciated finding a table fan in the wardrobe to use at night.

Parking very limited. Was able to find a spot on the street a couple blocks away from the hotel for the first night because both the parking lot and garage were full. The next morning after some guests left we were able to park in the hotel lot.

- hotel staff friendly and helpful- good selection of choices at breakfast- minibar in bedroom was great as could keep your drinks and snacks nice & cold- barman was very friendly and the food was delicious

- no air conditioning in the room which was a nightmare to sleep in as the temperature in the room would get very hot very quickly (a small electrical fan is not going to make the room temperature cool down)- no kettle in the room for you to have a cup of coffee/tea in your room at your own convenience

A bit out dated Location was about 15 minutes from stuggart centre by tram Weird smell in the breakfast area Breakfast was awful, limited choices , food not restocked quick enough. Local pubs , look nice but staff don’t appear to want tourists and are quite unfriendly

The desk in the room is completely optimized with my job.It’s could use my laptop(13inch) with extra monitor (13 inch).The parking is also good and safe

Everything was good, close to several u-bahn linien, room itself was very big with everything needed, bathroom was comfortable and special kudos to breakfast. I didn't expect such a good one

The room was very cold, hard to get the warm water in the shower going. Room key didn’t always work. Flat and uncomfortable pillows Breakfast left a lot to wish

This was our 2nd stay at Hotel Hetzel. Free parking. Breakfast included although we didn't have time to eat. Check-in was quick and easy. Water kettle, instant coffee, and mini-frig were big pluses!

The furniture was a bit outdated. Our room had a slanted wall on one side of the bed, causing painful bumps to the head when one is not careful when getting in and out of bed. Not a fan of the sliding door to the bathroom because it never stayed completely shut which did not allow complete privacy.
