    Pros +

    • Clean, quiet room with friendly service and nice breakfast. Received quiet room upon request.
    • Great location, close to an S-Bahn station, grocery stores, and restaurants. Room about the size of a single dorm, but very efficient and did not feel cramped. Good variety of breakfast buffet selections.
    • The hotel is very clean, kind people, the breakfast great with many options

    Cons -

    • No full blackout curtains. Room was a little tight to move around in. Elevator not in service after 10pm, difficult for those with mobility issues.
    • The bells on the church in from of the hotel ring every 15 minutes. While unique, might be rather annoying. The large room is on the last (fifth) floor, and the elevator goes only up to 4-th (didn't bother us). The breakfast is very basic - we preferred to eat outside.
    • On the top floor, Wifi signal is very weak, couldn’t for 2 days to stay at the hotel.

Nice and small hotel close to the city center. Located in from of a small lake (more of a pond) with a church - rather unique view. Clean, well maintained, but old building. The room was large enough (for 4 people) and comfortable. They have a basic breakfast.

Simple, neat, clean-cut. The interiors are warm in a welcoming way. The neighbouring 'Feuersee' pond is beautiful, and the gothic revival church on the pond is the cherry-on-top.I fell asleep to the neighbour's snoring sounds and woke up to the church bells. I loved it. Not for everyone - maybe.

Excellent location Safe walking distance to MetroGood bkfst Comfy n roomy suite

The graffiti outside the hotel. Not their fault. It is the problem of the City

The hotel is located next to a man made small lake and a nice church which is very nice to see from my window

I have seen some small bugs in the room

Central lacation. Delicous breakfast. Good price.

the location is good, very pretty view out the window although the church was under renovation. small comfortable free parking worked just perfect for us. the room was perfect with open window

would use an aircon on hot days. i didnt really unserstand why they couldnt pack 3 of us in that room where we had 3 absolutely enough big beds for each of us. i understand they need to sell more rooms but... ehh whatever... maybe fridge inside the room could help, and a bottle of water too.

The place is good value for the price. It is located close to the center. The breakfast is good. The staff is helpful.

The room was rather small. Lack of air conditioning is definitely a minus in summer, especially since leaving the windows open is not a very good option: the bell at the church just in front rings every quarter of hour.

    9KatrenPosted on: 6-28-2024

Perfect location close to the S Bahn or 15-20 minute walk to Schlossplatz. Very quiet place at night, and the rooms have a beautiful view of the church and park across the road. Windows in the room can be opened fully to quickly cool the room on a summer evening. Good selection of German style breakfast.

Note that the church bells ring for 3 minutes straight at 7am. Fine if you don't want to sleep in!

    9JenifirPosted on: 6-15-2024

The breakfast is good, the location is excellent - very close to underground station, the staff were helpful and the room is good.

The wifi connection is very bad and the bell from the church is loud (even with the window closed).

    9AggelikiPosted on: 6-9-2024

The location is very pretty and convenient, the staff was friendly and accommodating

No elevator after 10 pm, wifi weak

    8KolwyckPosted on: 6-6-2024

Breakfast and staff were both very nice. Rooms were basic but, clean. Staff accommodated my elderly parents by changing their room to a lower floor and also let them use the elevator as she was leaving for the night.

The elevator is only available from 6a-10p. We arrived late and went to dinner at 8p - we barely made it back in time for my elderly parents to use the elevator. There are only 3 parking spaces available if you arrive by car.

    9EkaterinaPosted on: 6-2-2024

Cosy hotel, nice staff, they accommodated my late arrival. Good room.

    8MerlePosted on: 5-12-2024

Just what you expect. Old furniture but totally fine. Clean bathroom. Nice breakfast buffet. Metro and bus station nearby - perfect for people with a Deutschlandticket.

    10PaulPosted on: 4-13-2024

Staff were great. Really friendly and helpful. Parking right outside the hotel - only 3 free space so we were lucky I guess. Bars and restaurants nearby. Nice and quiet. Decent breakfast.

It’s 10 mins walk to town but electric scooters are outside.
