    Pros +

    • The local was great and it was nice to have a room with a little kitchenette.
    • Great location, reasonable price, high ceilings in the rooms
    • The location perfect

    Cons -

    • Our room was slightly underground, however our windows were directly out onto the Main Street. It was loud and we could not open the curtains at all. It also seemed like maybe the shower hadn’t been used in a while? It had a lot of build up on all of the holes that I had to clean off to make the shower usable. Would stay again if our room was higher up.
    • Older equipmentPoor breakfastStaff seemed bothered with the quests
    • The room service + not clean , the towels bad smell , it dirty

    Location

The front desk girl was not positive. She does not smile. Our fridge did not work she and no one helped us. The shower sink was problem and they solved it at the last time. The breakfast was very poor

The breakfast was nice, some basic fare, coffee, juice, etc. But a good way to start the day, and the cooked food was nice and hot. My wife liked the little pastries.

They have central heating, and the first night we didn't really realize it, we woke up in the middle of the night sweating badly. Had to sleep with the cooling on each night.

The hotel’s biggest advantage is its location — just a five-minute walk from the heart of the old city, which makes it ideal for exploring on foot. The room itself was comfortable and had a touch of character; I especially appreciated the table creatively made from an old door. Although you can hear cars passing on the cobblestone street at night, this is easily solved with earplugs.

There were several disappointing aspects that overshadowed the stay. The bathroom showed poor maintenance, with noticeable calcium deposits on all taps. When I contacted the hotel about a booking issue, they kept redirecting me to Booking.com, while Booking.com advised contacting the hotel directly. This lack of accountability and clear communication was frustrating — an honest and straightforward response would have been far more appreciated.Breakfast was also a let-down. My booking included breakfast, and I arrived at the dining area five minutes before the official start time (06:55). The staff member on duty refused to let me wait inside, bluntly saying, “Breakfast at 7, come back later.” A bit of courtesy and flexibility would have gone a long way.Overall, while the location and room design were lovely, the lack of professionalism and attention to detail made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been.

Property was nice and close to everything and everything within walking distance. Nice room and staff were very nice and helpful.

The room was hot but… that’s it….. AC did not feel like it was working ? Such a minor thing.

The location was perfect. Traveling by car the huge Old Town (Rudolfinum) parking garage is has a pedestrian exit perhaps 50 meters from the hotel. Although the hotel is not directly on the river, we could see the concert hall, river and castle from our room at the north corner of the building. It is 5 minutes walk the main square or, in the other direction, the Charles bridge and the Klementinum. In another direction it is 15 minutes to the Prague Castle. If you prefer, there is a tram stop right outside the door. For the price, the location alone makes this a great value. But, everything else was also good. Service was friendly but low key. The room was very comfortable. We will stay here again if we get the chance.

Location is amazing to get to main attractions but keep your expectations low.

Was told I was given an “upgraded” room only to be placed on the street side which was EXTREMELY noisy. The room was basic, lots of broken items (sink stopper, faucet), or was the worse faucet I have ever come across. The placement would not let the hot be accessible and when you turn on the water it splashed everywhere. I was scheduled for 4 nights, I left after the first and went somewhere else. Carpets were also filthy.

Incredible location in the old town, next to trams and metro. Clean and large room.

Wifi dropped from time to time, pillows weren’t the most comfortable.

    7IvanPosted on: 9-8-2025

The location was top notch, very close to any of the old town sight seeings and to public transport. The room was big and warm, even though it was one floor below the ground level. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

We stayed for 3 days and no one came to take our trash out or to change our towels. The room was dusty and most of the surfaces were not cleaned. Lightning in the room was really poor. Staff did not speak proper English. Toilet was not private at all.

    7Maria S.Posted on: 9-4-2025

Location was just perfect. Bathroom really really spacious and good. If you are in luck to get a good room, it is really nice. Our room was really big and comfortable, but we had issues with the curtains.

Curtains did not work (well, actually, one was not even there and the other did not work) , we slept with the windows opened. Our room was at the top, so they were at the roof, two big windows... What I didn't like is that 1. they already knew they didn't work but didn't mention it. 2. when I do mention it, they say "oh yes we know, but we can't do anything." They only had one room left available but it was incredibly small, so we didn't take it. We were 8, had 4 rooms. 2 were really nice, ours and the left one, not that great.

Best location in Prague IMO, close to the water, and close to the old town. Excellent AC in room, excellent showers, decent beds and pillows. Need to climb a few steps before reaching the main floor (if you have difficulty climbing stairs, might be an issue).

Not the standard "hotel" type reception and lobby, but doesn't matter honestly. Would appreciate more towels in room. No other complaints.

    9Assaf J.Posted on: 8-22-2025

The best location in Old Town. In front of a tram station and a metro station if you want to explore the city. Large bed and big shower.

    9MohammedPosted on: 8-13-2025

I liked the rooms and amenities and the bathroom but it needs a little maintenance to be perfect, but the bathroom is amazing and equipped properly

    9SansonPosted on: 8-9-2025

Excellent room, well appointed, perfect location.

Small flight of stairs on entry, but not a big deal. No parking onsite, so parked at Old Town parking across the street. Offsite parking and dragging luggage is the cost of wanting to drive AND wanting to stay centrally in these old cities!
