Pros +
- Location is right on Wenceslas Square and within walking distance to places of interest, shops, metro, and hop on/off buses. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Huge bathroom with amenities. We'd definitely stay here again!
- Like it stopped in time 50 years ago, except for the bathroom
- room, location, breakfast
Cons -
- Others in our party always had chocolate on their pillows, but we only had this once. Double rooms have two twin beds, usual for Europe, but we preferred pushing them together. Suggest cleaning better under the beds.
- So loud, the age of the guest is like spring break youg people just trying to get drunk and enjoy. There is a casino and a girls night club next door.
- Very smokey lobby, carpets old and worned out. Beds old bad matress.

Everything
We chose the hotel for its central location - close to all amenities, the man train station and the National Museum, which was very convenient.
We were very disappointed with the cleanliness standard of the room - there were stains on the bed throw (I imagine it is doesn't get changed/washed regularly), a hair on the bed sheets, a bug on a windowsill, some unidentified piece of something (snot?) on the wall. Certainly not up to the standard of a 5 (or even 4) star hotel. It was obvious that the room was cleaned in a hurry and only the very basics were done (I imagine perhaps because we only stayed for one night) . At breakfast, I would appreciate to have allergens listed at the buffet. Although there was a gluten/lactose free corner with a great selection of alternative milks, I had to ask the chef whether a number of items actually contained milk or not. Having allergens listed would be very helpful in this day and age. On a positive note, the chef was kind, helpful and once made aware of our needs, he was very accommodating.
Location Spacious comfortable clean room Very delicious breakfast
No kettle in the room You have serve yourself with the luggage
The location of the hotel and size of rooms was greatly.
We reserved a parking spot, but had a hard time locating the garage. We kept circling around and were stopped by police twice, since we had to enter the pedestrian zone, during a busy Christmas market. We were frustrated, but once we finally figured it out after over an hour, it was fine.
We only stayed for 1 night and our expectations were high mainly due to the 5* star rating and the location. However, none of us slept well due to noise from the main square, hard mattresses and cheap pillows. The location is great if you’re using public transport, but it was extremely stressful to drive through a pedestrian zone with thousands of people present just to get to the hotel’s parking. We would not stay here again. No one asked us throughout the whole stay how we felt and no one helped my senior family members with their luggage either, despite multiple staff members just standing around.
Location, beds, staff not friendly, noise during the night. Parking available, but extremely difficult to access.
Love the vintage style, absolutely beautiful. Location is fantastic.
Staff absolutely atrocious! Discussing private matters and swearing in front of everyone, no matter whether its reception or breakfast room. Also very abrupt and rude for no apparent reason. Shocking attitude!
Location, room size, cleanliness.
Staff behaviour, seperate beds though booked double bed, bed comfort, locked mini bar.

No chance to get breakfast due to insufficient capacity of the restaurant. There is a casino and so a certain kind of people usually stay in front of the hotel
The hotel deserves 5 star. Excellent location, clean and large room. Good breakfast. Will definitly come here again if I get to visit Prague.
Really pleasant service at the receptionReally big roomsThe breakfast was excellent.
The sheets in my opinion should be paid attention to their cleanliness
Choices for breakfast were excellent.Fabulous location
Bed was uncomfortable.
Location was amazing! Just step outside and you weren in the heart of the city and a lovely Christmas Market.
Well...beds were hard and extremely uncomfortable. Rooms were very hot at night with no working controls to turn down the heat. The jacuzzi bathtub jets did not work well. Halfway through the bath, the jets stopped working. No kettle in room for tea or coffee. The waiter/bar attendant was VERY grumpy. He made us feel as if we were actually an inconvenience.
Close to old town and Christmas markets - best location! Very clean and we'll maintain
Old school design - the only thing that really makes it defer from other hotels - not that bad
Food and location is good
Rooms must be renovated a little bit. The floors also must be renovated
