Andante Hotel

Good location

They didn’t have heating when we arrived, after some time heating was working, but it wasn’t that warm in the room. Also we needed to ask for a hairdryer because it wasn’t in the room.

Room was clean, modern and perfect. Hotel staff were lovely

Don and Jerry at Hotel Andante were fantastic hosts—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay. The hotel itself is great: clean, comfortable, and well run. The location is phenomenal, making it easy to explore the area on foot and enjoy everything nearby. Highly recommended.

Good breakfast. The room was large enough for three adults. Very nice terrace even though the sofa in the terrace was broken. Very good location.

We arrived two hours before check in time. We were told our rooms were ready but would cost 20 euros extra to get the room at once. I understand hotels have their policies and in a tight economy they have to make their money. Nonetheless, I've never experienced that before and would count it as a negative. The room was a bit cold during night time, it's mid February and cold but I had higher expectations in this regard.

Toilet and sink are in different rooms. You change rooms to wash hands after you pee :)

No curtain in the bathroom, really weird decision, so a bit uncomfortable to wash

It’s close to the main road/city center. Everything has a walkable distance.

Location isn’t very nice, it’s near several „sauna clubs“. The rooms are old and the windows weren’t sealed properly so cold air came in. The shower was a very odd shape and you couldn’t fit in properly

Room was dirty. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room looked very used and was right next to the staircase and the elevator.

Bathroom for SGL room is small, I mean small. But have to say somehow still remains practical (but I am dwarfish size).

Close to main attractions and transport stops. Venue had a garage.

Garage was overbooked which made it difficult to access site. Bathroom outdated and no shower curtain. If you want your towels to be changed, you have to inform the reception. Breakfast starts a bit late, from 8.30am to 9.30am. We had the junior suite however there waa no space to leave luggages open considering the wardrobe was very, very small.

Property smelt terrible, cigarette smoke and awful men’s cologne throughout the place. Staff were rude, we tried to cancel because the place was dirty and smelly, the locks on the bedroom door wasn’t properly functioning. They still charged us eventhough we didn’t end up staying there. Avoid this place.

Breakfast was nice

The photos looked better than in real life. Old and crusty shower doors, in general noise isolation was bad

Check in Staff was wonderful, balcony was huge, comfortable beds, good breakfast, close to trains, would definitely recommend.

The location is very good for visiting Prague for a few days and the hotel is very clean. If the price was lower for my stay I would have left with a more positive frame of mind. Old town square is walkable in about 15/20 mins depending on your speed, metro close by less than 10 mins walk and an abundance of tram lines to get you around.

The hotel was very expensive for what it was, there was no view out the window just a brick wall, no need for a window at all. A kettle and cups in the room but no tea or coffee. There is a small shop on the corner do not buy anything there way overpriced.
