Amazing breakfast, lovely room and staff very accommodating. Only short walk into the old town, and far enough away to be able to enjoy some peace. Very good value for money. Good for couples looking to have a get away.
Everything was nice
Unique room/suite which was lovely and big. Impressive looking breakfast area. Catered for gluten free. Close to the castle.
A bit further away from city center than we were expecting, so a fair bit of walking to the markets.
Location and rooms were a good size
Breakfast a little hit and miss - go early as food was not fully replenished. The room was a little dated in parts
The hotel was run very professionally with some lovely touches like complimentary coffee, croissants and fruit. There was always someone on receptiion. Btrakfast was very good and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
The pillows could have been softer.
It is already the second time that my husband and stayed in this beautiful place. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well maintained. The breakfast buffet has a lot of choices. The whole staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely come back next year.Kristine Vos
I loved the beautiful rooms and its location. It is central to all of the tourist attractions- yet it is in a quiet cobbled street away from the chaos of Prague. The staff were so helpful and the breakfasts were sumptuous.
I had an amazing experience overall. This hotel is a hidden gem! The apartment was beautifully decorated, warm and cosy. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The breakfast had delicios food, from nutritious courses, like omlette, dairy, lots of vegetables and fruits to hearty tarts and pastry. A dream come true for my birthday in Prague! My husband and I were very happy during our stay here. It was a privilege! Thank you, Appia!
I liked everything!
A lovely, homely place to stay. Very quiet, yet central location, just between the famous bridge and the castle. Amazing breakfast, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere of old, stately Prague. Highly recommended!
Breakfast was excellent, great variety of nicely presented food types.Breakfast is presented in a lovely setting, a historic part of the original building incorporated into the new, amazing wooden beams, very tasteful.Location of the hotel was perfect for us, being behind the area containing embassies, with security access controlled, very peaceful and quiet.Easy walk to the castle and to Charles bridge and old town.Ideal location.
This is an outstanding accommodation in the heart of one of the most visited districts in Prague, Hrad. And yet, it is located in a quite street, it is housed in a beautiful, old building, with a charming courtyard. The facilities were top notch, the staff was amazing, and we were blown out by the breakfast location and offerings. Couldn't have it better!
all was beyond expectations.
There was a nice variety of food for breakfast. There were foods provided for every appetite. The coffee bar served lovely cappuccino's, latte's, etc. Service was very friendly.
It was spacious, with comfortable beds I love that the property retained some of the original walls because it gave the place so much character. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, and served in the amazing attic room with exposed beams
Amazing, spacious room. Very quiet location. Friendly stuff. Tasty breakfast.
I liked everything.
The room was extremely clean and spacious. The breakfast was phenomenal. The staff were accommodating and Magdalena even helped find us medicine and a apothecary when one of us got a cold. The location was perfect it is next to everything with out being disturbed by crowds or noises. The local restaurants around it are very yummy and less touristy.
Nothing could have been better. If we return to Prague we will stay here.
The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. It was outside the crazy, touristy park of Prague ( basically anywhere near Charles bridge ) but still easily within walking distance from the main attractions, restaurants and train station. The streets became super quiet and calm as we neared that area. The hotel its self was one of the best staffed and best maintained hotels I’ve stayed at, especially for its age. They even had air conditioners! The breakfast was wonderful and well worth having! The staff was some of the friendliest and most helpful people in ran into. Especially the receptionists. Both of the ones we interacted with were incredibly kind and helpful and I was very impressed with them. I can’t say enough good about the staff or the hotel or its calm quiet location. I would absolutely stay here again!!!
Honestly, I liked everything about it. No complaints!
The hotel is beautiful, spotless and fantastic breakfast. The receptionist Helena was very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend to choose Appia for your stay.
My husband thought the aircon was a bit noisy, but it didnt bother me.
The property is super cute and well kept. Reception is there 24/7 so if you need anything they are able to help right away. The rooms have AC, which is nice in the summer. They also have elevator for people with mobility issues. Location is super quiet, tucked away from a busy street.
Location is not convenient to public transportation. You have to walk at least 8-10 minutes to get to a bus or tram stop. It is uphill from most of the tourist attractions. So if you don’t mind walking up hill everyday you’ll do just fine.
