Pros +
- Location was perfect! Close to bars, restaurants and shops. Give your key during the day and get it back when u return. Everybody is buzzed in. Felt safe. There was a safe in the room for a deposit and returned. Breakfast included!

- Very nice staff, excellent room and location. The room rate included breakfast and it was good. Excellent location
Cons -
- No elevator, so good exercise! Serious problem with the plumbing. Flushing the toilet made a hideous noise and water temp varied widely. Room not really cleaned during our stay, just the bed Made and fresh towels. Mini bar prices ridiculous
- There was a horrible smell in our room. The hotel staff was not helpful when we discussed it with them. They simply blamed it on a nearby restaurant. This was not a smell from the restaurant. I would advise against booking at this hotel.
- It would be nice to put curtains in the shower to avoid getting the bathroom floor wet. Besides that, everything was great!

Check in was easy, the staff were very helpful, the room was clean and beautiful. The bathroom was excellent. Having breakfast included was a huge bonus. And we could not have asked for a better location.
I found the bed to be a little too hard. Could use a thin foam layer to make them a bit softer.
Breakfast was terrible location was great
Had to park 10 minutes away. Room was dated, 3rd floor with no elevator and narrow stairs which i fell at the bottom. Loud squeaky floors. No shower curtain but great locstion
Great location for the money.........just don't bring alot of luggage.....stairs were a killer!
The hotel is in an excellent location, with good security provided by the front desk at the entrance
A hotel built on multiple levels, with access via stairs only (no elevator)
Location was perfect!
Steep stairs no elevator, tub no shower, hard beds
Perfct location, in the centrel.nice room; old bed, not very comfy
The restorund
Great location. That was the best part of the hotel. Couldn’t beat the spot for convenience to all of Prague.
Staff reserved and not communicating very well in English. No hello and welcome just asked for my passport. The room I had did not have a window. The steps were narrow steep and winding up two floors. No problem for me without a suitcase but with a big one very difficult. Breakfast was not worth it. Bread and meat slices, old hot dogs and cereal. Also you could hear everyone coming and going but it is an old hotel so that comes with the building.
the rooms were very ample and the building was beautiful; the location was in the heart of the downtown 'old village ' and super accessible to get to most tourist attractions
there was no elevator which they did mention when i booked but keep that in mind as the stairs are narrow and steep and with luggage can be tricky to navigatealso because the location is in a hip centric area, at nigt especially on weekends it can be very noisy with the pubs and restaurants right below and next to the hotelalso the staff were not very friendly or helpful; they barely looked up to say good morning and were not easy to deal with the breakfast was very scarce and consisted of fruit and some cereal and a few cheese slices
position is super. Rooms are very nice. We changed the room from 4th floor til 1st floor . Luckly! That was a very nice gesture. rooms are sapcious but not very practical , extra bad had horrible matress , you can feel the wiresligths in the room were not strong enough in the bathroom there were not enough ligt, espacially over the mirrorand there were no towel hangers in the bathroom
I know taht it is a very old building ant that there is not elevator. This should´ve been mentioned before. first night we slept on the 4th floor where the bathroom is 10 stairs down (very deep stairs) , my old mum almost died climbing up . In total was 86 stairs. Deep stairs. It is great for young people, but anyone over 60 and with bad knees CAN´T stay in that hotel.
I could check in late, and a central location. A historic place more than 800 years old
No lift, so I had to lug my suitcase up three flights of stairs and I hurt my back. No air conditioning
The manager was helpful : he helped to drop our luggage up by stairs . I appreciate that
The reception girl Anna was extremely rude , the way she was talking was very unprofessional and not friendly. I did not fell comfy any time I went to reception. Very bad - you don’t have any mood there Becouse of her attitude
Location
Very old building, floors and stairs noisy when walking; room outdated
The location
The staff changes money for store luggage about 2£ for each bag, no elevator and the stairs are not safe for little children
great place located in the center of the old town. the room was large and comfortable, the bathroom was equally large. the price included a buffet breakfast. the staff was helpful and polite. it is worth adding that the hotel itself does not have a restaurant, there are 2 nearby within 5 meters. one Brazilian on the left and a traditional Czech on the right, also nearby there is a 24-hour shop with souvenirs, sweets and beer, etc. so I can recommend the hotel as a place I would like to come back to
A pigeon outside the window, which started cooing at the same time as my alarm clock. I turned the alarm clock off, but unfortunately the pigeon couldn't be turned off.
Great, small, atmospheric hotel in a 14. cent. townhouse, right by the Old Town Main Square and close to the subway\metro. Nice young ladies at the 24hr reception desk. Simple all-you-can-eat breakfast included.
No air conditioning, just a fan, so it'd be risky to live there during summer, when it's over 30 C.
Very old and beautiful building right on Old Town Square. The very centre of old Praque.
The hotel would need massive financial investment. Everything looks very old and not very clean inside. Think that since early 90's nobody spent a penny on that building, which is something, what that place would massively deserve.
Lovely authentic hotel in the very middle of Prague with all the highlights at a walking distance, just around the corner of the old square.Taxi pick-up at the train station well arranged ahead. Taxi was waiting for us.It's good to realize the hotel doesn't have an elevator and some rooms are on the 3rd floor. Steep staircase. It's definitely a location we would love to come back to. However there are some (minor) issues which could easily be fixed to turn this into the perfect stay.
Towel management for sustainability. However when you do leave the towel on the hook it still gets changed every day.Nice room which would have plenty of space for a coatrack near the door, this really lacks, especially with wet coats.Breakfast is good, but at busy times the breakfast rooms is too small for all guests. We encountered a lack of enthusiasm from a receptionist: went out for a coffee so we couldn't enter the hotel for almost 10 min. When asking for directions to go to a place by public transportation, we were advised to use GoogleMaps. Indeed it is possible to replace a receptionist by GoogleMaps and all kind of other apps (even for payment), but that's not the purpose of having a receptionist in person around. Coming form the Hospitality Educational Industry I was a bit disappointed here. Missed opportunities in my opinion.
