Golden Well

We were very happy with Golden Well. Location is great, more private and less noisy. Room is well decorated and food is delicious.

Prague is a magical city and the Golden Well staff are amazing.

We were sad that we didn’t book dinner in advance and the restaurant was sold out during our stay.

We loved everything about this hotel! If we had more time, we would have stayed longer! Prague is divided by a river, and this hotel is in a hilly location beneath the Castle grounds. Near the hotel are many restaurants and the Charles Bridge is a short distance away. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by embassies. The staff pamper you like crazy! We loved it!

Everything. Location is perfect - feels like Prague is on your doorstep, yet the hotel is a comfortable retreat/oasis from the city. Room was perfect in every way - view, beds, pillows, deep bathtub, underfloor heating in bathroom, slippers and dessert before bed. Truly feels like a 5-star experience. We especially liked the 4pm tea/coffee. Excellent service and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and view breathtaking. Hotel is also child-friendly as we travelled with a toddler. Plan to return for Prague in summer at the same hotel. The hotel played a big part in us enjoying the trip so much.

Fabulous breakfast, ideally located near the castle and local bars and restaurants. Easy walking distance down to the Charles bridge and the old town. The staff are amazing, they cannot do enough for you, super helpful and friendly

Location, beautiful and very clean hotel.

What is there not to like. Beautiful rooms, fantastic staff and the place is immaculate. Breakfast is nice and the complimentary snacks and drinks late afternoon are a nice touch.

Personal polite and helpful service except for one older man on reception with blond hair who was dismissive. Wearing white/black clothing. The rest of the staff were good.

Absolutely everything!!!! The stuff is amazing: attentive and kind The room was wonderful . The breakfast at the Terrace restaurant exquisite. The hotel is unique, beautiful, pampering and yet warm and homy. Loved our stay would love to come back.

Not a thing.

The food was amazing. The room was romantic. The other guests were friendly and nice. The staff were polite friendly and helpful.

The coffee machine in the bedroom - but, so what.

The view from the restaurants at breakfast and dining on the top terrace was exceptional.

It was a bit of a climb to get to the hotel at the end of a day's stroll around Prague, but that was an age thing.

Charming and comfortable and cozy yet elegant, with tremendous views from 3rd and 4th floors, and convenient to all the sights of Prague’s old town

Cobblestone streets and sidewalks are quaint but mean you may need to carry your bags up the last 50 yards uphill since rolling luggage is not designed for cobblestones lol

It is in a quiet and beautiful location with a fantastic view of the city from the breakfast room. The staff pays amazing attention to detail surprising us with Star Wars extra special touches.

Lovely service, fabulous breakfast, very good and secure location.

Music in the distance until the wee hours and beyond on one of our three nights. Pillows lacked support.
