The Charles Hotel

The location was great , right in the middle of everything plus the Reception staff were great always ready to help in any way . They are a great asset to the organization.

The roon lighting was very low , surely needs more lighting.

Location, within 20 minutes of main sights we wanted to visit. Size of the room and its decor and temperature. Check in staff (male), very pleasant, welcoming and knowledgeable. Gave us lots of information about the area and restaurant recommendations

Room above Blue Light bar, noisy into the early hours of the morning. Lift was also very noisy throughout the night. No bar in the hotel. Female reception staff member very unpleasant & rude (never spoke, smiled & never made us feel welcome).

The charm of the hotel, staff was friendly, price and location. I very much like my hotel. I would certainly recommend it for proximity to Prague's city center and to many tourist sites. I found Prague itself to be very walkable which to me made it grea

I found a bug in my bed. I do not think or hope it was not a bed bug. I checked my mattress and did not see evidence of any other bugs. But it was still concerning to find it in the middle of the night. Having to hold the shower head.

The location.

Unattractive breakfast. There was nothing exciting to eat. Zero choices for vegans. The same food every day. Even coffee wasnt tasty. By the way you need to pay for airport shuttle (not listed on hotels website).

The location and staff were excellent and the breakfast was sumptuous. It was a fantastic place to stay

Although the shower did the trick, it didn't drain properly. Nor did the sink, for that matter. The toilet was fine.

Fabulous Central location but no outside noise, character (and size!) of the rooms was stunning, AC!! , attendants at the front desk were lovely and so helpful!

European shower is a bit of a pain. Character of the beautiful floors and doors unfortunately leads to a bit excess noise transmission. Breakfast was complete and there was plenty if good but the quality may have been under par for a 4-star.

Very helpful staff and quick to respond to our needs, excellent location, and a very good breakfast. The hotel has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room (quite spacious). I travelled with a baby and the staff were very kind, providing a baby cot in the room at no extra cost (they have also available baby chairs in the breakfast area). They also offer an airport transfer service, which is reliable and works very well. There is a luggage storage room available. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it.

The staff was so helpful and delightful. The room was cozy and comfy and the location was close to everything.

The elevator was a little quirky but manageable.

Location perfect 2 min to Charles bridge and walkable to the castle as wellBreakfast was really good

This hotel was great for our honeymoon. We were upgraded and had such an amazing time. The room was fantastic - had the perfect old world elegance feel. Breakfast had so many options and the location was so close to everthing.

Great breakfast.

The hotel is great, but there is a really noisy nightclub next door. It was difficult to rest during our stay because the nightclub's patrons stayed drinking and talking loudly in front of it.

Staff was helpful and excellent. Rooms are well kept and very clean. Location was unbeatable. Breakfast buffet was delicious.

The breakfast was very good and the location was such that you could walk everywhere.

Location is excellent. Room is great. Hotel employees were super nice.

We are in our 70s and we got a tub that is about 2 feet high. This would have been OK if there was a handle where we can hold on while we get in the tub. This is not safe at all.... even for younger people. I had to help my wife get in/out of the tub each time. Spoke with the front desk lady and she said that they will install the handle bar on all the tubs. I hope they do that. It does not cost much but the consequence of an accident may be really painful for the hotel. Especially now that this issue has been brought up. Otherwise, I love the place.

This was a continuation booking when we extended our stay in Prague. Staff was very helpful.

Beautifully maintained old building, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, great location near trams, Charles Bridge, metro, and on a side street, so quiet. Photo shared is of the upper wall and ceiling in our room.

We loved the large bed, the clean room, the breakfast spread, and the space in the room. The AC worked well given how warm the rest of the building was.

The room/bathroom could have used more hooks for towels, jackets, and other things that need hung. The common spaces were too warm.
