Hotel Karlova Prague - Mostecka 10 st Depandance

Great location. Right on a main pedestrian street just a stone's throw from the Charles Bridge. Quite a bit of noise from the street but it quieted down by about 10pm. Great communication with the staff via email in days leading up to our stay.

In the morning the garbage truck came through each day and made a fair amount of noise. Especially loud if the windows need to be open.

The location is 10/10, steps away from the Charles Bridge. The main tourist sites were across the bridge but we didn’t mind the walk. Close to the tram and steps away from the Pork restaurant which is a must try. Apartment was spacious and quiet with basic furniture.

There is no elevator so everyone must carry their luggage up the stairs but it wasn’t an issue for us. There are 2 washing machines. One is a wash & dry combo and the other is just a washing machine. It took forever to do our laundry so we didn’t bother using it again.

Location was perfect but that being said the room should have a sound proof system as it’s in the middle of everything Big bathroom and room

Dangerous threshold from bathroom to hall uneven and unmarked. Especially dangerous after showering. We saw it when we arrived and thought it looked dangerous. On my way out of the bathroom I had a bad fall despite being careful. We told the property about both the fall and our concerns, they did eventually reply, but from their answer, we are unsure if they cared at all or will do anything to resolve the issue.

Very central location, spacious room, fully equipped, very comfortable bed, clean and full of sunlight. 2 min walk to the beautiful Charles bridge. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved everything.

The place was well-maintained and nicely furnished, with a working air conditioner. The location couldn’t be better - right at the foot of Charles Bridge, with many iconic landmarks just a short stroll away. We even had cleaning service during our short stay, which was a pleasant surprise.

Not really an issue for us, but other travelers should note that there’s a winding staircase and no elevator, so carrying large suitcases might be a bit challenging.

The location was awesome. 5 minute walk to the Charles Bridge and easy walking access to other sites, grocery store across the street, lots of restaurants, but still a very quiet room. It was clean and comfortable. Nice to have a kitchen with a fridge and coffee.

Wish they left more coffee pods! It wasn't a problem for us but you need to climb three flights of stairs to get to the apartment...no elevator. Not sure if the view from the windows constitute a castle view!

Good amenities, comfortable bed, and excellent location.

The location, the style, the cleanliness

This apartment is in a great location, just a 2-minute walk from the famous Charles Bridge in Prague. It’s clean and comfortable, and access is easy with the entry code. It’s also close to a tram stop.

The only drawback is that there’s no elevator, which can be inconvenient if you’re traveling with a large suitcase. It was quite difficult for me since I was on the third floor.

Superb location and big size room and very clean.

No elevator but understandable. No control of air conditioner it is being controlled by staff.

My room was in second floor(street side) I couldn’t sleep for 2 nights due to street noise. The windows are not tightly sealed there for you can hear people chatting on street like they are in my room. I booked a non refundable 5 nights but I had to leave after 2 nights only. The noise was unbearable.

Spacious flat with elevator access and great location! Apartment is very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. Manager was also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Do not have comfortable siting area and table inside the apartment ; only provided very high chairs and small table, plus a long wooden bench inside the apartment, which do not suit for coffee breaks and meals or watching TVs; :(

Overall I like an apartment, but one has to know, this is not a hotel!

Staff members were very rood to me. I reserved the HOTEL KARLOVO. I specifically searched for a hotel at the center of the old city. The present several apartments in a building across Charles Bridge as their hotel, telling me that I had to check the address (there was apparently two different addresses I should know) and that the word Depandance should be self-explanatory. And with that, the young woman at the registration desk was trying to teach me English (I am a professor and wrote 6 books) . . . .Moreover, when I agreed to stay in an apartment building I realize that the stairs to the second floor are very steep, I called to the hotel, and the staff member told me that they can change the room for the first floor and that she will instantly email me the key code. I waited for this code for 3 hours, having no WIFI and unable to phone, I had to walk back to their hotel to get the cord. I was profoundly upset. No apology, but some silly explanations, not busy, were considering . . . .The level of hospitality I have never encountered before!

Perfect location, overall response to questions throughout stay. Truly could not have scripted a better location as you exit the unit you are on a vibrant street( no noise into unit as we were in the back) with a full service grocery across the street.

Wish there had been at least one comfortable lounge chair. Noise from unit above late at night. Would have been nice to have had a hot plate or microwave or something to warm up food( not cook).

Beat location next to a reasonably priced grocery store and stone throw away from Charles Bridge and Tram. At the heart of all the action

We booked two rooms because we were traveling with our two teenage sons, and one of them stayed in a separate room. We were left with only the best impressions. Everything was clean and tidy, and everything we needed was available in the room. But the most important thing was the location. This was my third time in Prague, and I honestly don’t remember enjoying a stay as much as I did this time. A beautiful room right in the city center — quiet and peaceful. We truly loved it, and I will recommend it to all my friends who are planning a trip to Prague. Thank you very much.

Excellent location, walking distance to major attractions and good restaurants. Very clean apartment, quiet, comfortable beds.
