Art Nouveau Palace Hotel

Rooms were well furnished and updated, central air, helpful and friendly staff, excellent breakfast provided free. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous location, with very friendly and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast had great selection of goods/ drinks and staff were very attentive. Rooms good size, good facilities, great to have a kettle in the room, good bathroom and comfy beds. Overall very great experience at this hotel.

A pod coffee machine would have been ideal in the room, instead of instant coffee.

No pool, sauna, steam room or jacuzzi for a 5 star hotel is normally typical. I couldn't get the air conditioning to work.

Weirdly - in the middle of winter (and I never thought I could say this) the room was TOO warm and dry to sleep super comfortably

The breakfast is a amazing, a real 10/10, so much choice, and very fresh, high quality, it's crazy. And you get to try czech food too.The hôtel is beautiful too, love the old style

The hotel was perfect for our stay. The location was amazing and close to all the sites. we were able to check in early which was fantatastic as we had been travelling since early morning. Our room was excellent and had a lovely big bed . The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and plenty of towels available. It would have been good to have an extra holding rail to get in and out of the shower. This is our only negative comment. The breakfast buffet was just absolutely wonderful with such an amazing choice. .We will return.

Just superb in every way. The rooms are clean, large, comfortable and elegantly stunning! We were lucky to be upgraded and honestly …with the room we had and the service we received we felt like royalty! We enjoyed their buffet breakfast one day as well….. beautiful food and very attentive service from the staff. Highly recommend staying here when in Prague as also a super handy location to the old town and train station.

The best hotel that we have stayed in the whole life, the breakfast, the decoration.. the staff.. all that I can remember from the hotel was awesome!

The hotel feels outdated in the worst possible way. The food is comparable to a canteen, with no allergen information provided until I raised a complaint. Most of the ingredients seem to be imported, and the quality is far from what you’d expect from a five-star property — the breakfast was more like a standard continental buffet. Carpets cover almost every surface, yet there’s no proper carpet cleaning, only occasional vacuuming.Communication with housekeeping was impossible as the staff didn’t speak English, making even simple requests frustrating. The in-room hair dryer was so weak it couldn’t dry hair at all; I had to ask three times before being given a normal one — and this was in a suite, which is unacceptable.Even worse, the way the reception handled personal data was alarming. Overall, this hotel would be rated three stars at best.

Expensive water in the room. £4 for a bottle of still water

We liked that the property is was comfortable, close to the city center and very near to the train station.

All is was fine.

The staff were incredible. On my partner's birthday they provided a bottle of champagne, without us ever mentioning it! They must have just made note of the date when they saw our passports upon check in. We were blown away by how lovely and attentive everyone was.

There was nothing we didn't like. A suggestion for improvement would be to add allergen numbers to the breakfast buffet - it would save time and embarrassment having to ask staff that are already incredibly busy as to whether an item contains gluten, etc.
