Hotel Certovka

Lovely, comfortable hotel with old world charm. An unbeatable location right next to the Charles Bridge, with a view over the canal. Decent breakfast.

Location is great, it's closed to Charles Bridge, enjoyed this a lot.

Fabulous location right next to Charles Bridge, lovely views from our room. Clean room, good shower, convenient self check in.

No sockets by the bed or tea/coffee making facilities in room.

The location, in particular, is very special. If you have watched the series 'Outlander', you will recognise the location.

Manual check-in if you arrive after 7pm. Fortunately, arrived before and was checked-in by a friendly and helpful staff member.

Location is excellent.

It feels like a 3 star hotel at best. Very old style, hasn’t been renovated in decades, staff rude. Electronic access when we arrived at night did not work, rooms were in the wrong names etc…

The location was perfect , literally just off Charles Bridge. The building itself was originally baroque and oozes character.

It would have been wonderful if it had a bar , to enjoy a drink after a day of sightseeing.

Location was perfect and the room was nice. Beds were comfortable and the room had space and was clean.

We got the room on the ground floor facing right onto the street full of tourists so we felt like there wasn't enough privacy.

The location right next to Charles Bridge was wonderful and we were able to walk easily into the old town, the new town and castle area. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We arrived after reception had closed and the late check-in procedure didn't work, so we had to phone a number to be let in. Also the automatic electric entrance doors to the hotel were awkward and not the most secure.

The hotel is close to all sightseeing places, and the Charles bridge is in front of it. We haven't used any transportation during our stay to visit those places. The self-check in process is very convenient, and the hotel was very responsive.

Charming, clean, cosy, delicious breakfast and comfy bed.

Very noisy in the day time when resting / napping due to many tourists outside. Will pack earplugs next time.

It was very central and Stepanka made every effort to make our requests

It was hot at night. I had turned down the heater but still hot. No aircon during winter. Not really the hotel’s fault. I’m going through menopause.

Location!!!! My hobby is photography and I take photos early in the morning so less crowd, and the location of the hotel is so perfect. I can literally see the Charles bridge from my room’s window. It’s also in the quieter side of Prague so at night it’s quiet

Location right next to Charles Bridge was perfect. Easy to walk to city centre.

No parking onsite. But if you fly to Prague and use taxis, then no problem.

Fantastic location at the end of Charles Bridge in Lesser Town - it was magical to cross Charles Bridge at all times of the day to get to/from Old Town.Breakfast was varied each day with excellent coffee!The staff were friendly and very helpful.

If I had to be picky - there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room

We travelled in October and the weather was quite cool. The room heating system was not working.
