Romantik Hotel U Raka

In quiet charming section of Prague, but within walking distance of everything. A place for couples. They don't serve dinner (but have an excellent breakfast.) However, there is a wonderful place for dinner just up the cobblestone path.

Everything! The staff treated us like family, the decor was outstanding, one of a kind, comfortable, clean… There are no words for how much we loved Romanticky Hotel U Raka!

One of the best places that you can stay in Prague or really anywhere. The hotel is in an old farm house next to Prague castle. The room was magnificent and I felt bad not spending more time at the hotel. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is excellent. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

Beautiful hotel with terraced outdoor seating. We loved sitting outside after a day of site seeing. If you want to be away from the noise of Old Town this is your place.

We loved that the hotel was small (6 rooms) and in a very quiet location. It is within walking distance to the Prague Castle, many restaurants and shops. No details were spared when designing both the interior of the hotel and the garden/terrace. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Breakfast every morning was exceptional! We highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Quiet, comfortable and perfectly located (for me). The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was exceptional.

I like a simple decor and they had a lot of collectibles, but they suited the place and I was happy with the experience.

Difficult for Uber drivers to find. This was partly due to road construction.

Very unique hotel — not a cookie-cutter room you’d find anywhere else. Staff were kind, the room was clean and comfortable, and the quaint back garden is reserved just for hotel guests.

We adored the terrace that felt like our own private garten full of beautiful flowers and trees. The room was like observing a museum with beautiful artifacts. Every attention to detail in the room was thoughtfully designed and much appreciated, to include hooks in the right places for quick unloading into the flat, lights thoughtfully angled for ambiance, windows that look at at lovely gartens, and overall extremely comfy. We love this area of Prague - away from the crowds but close enough to get a workout walking to the sites. The staff that received us on Saturday and took care of us on Sunday were top notch and made us feel so welcomed that we could relax and enjoy quality time with our little dog in the garten with a cold beer. We will definitely visit this place again someday!

This not a big deal but if I had to describe one thing that was not great, it would be that the lady at breakfast on Monday made me feel awkward because I chose the wrong table for breakfast - I did not realize we had assigned seating at the meal spot.

Everything. Great location. Large and beautifully appointed room. Very comfortable bed with good linen. Great bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Due to a train delay, we arrived well after the check-in time. Communication with the staff was easy throughout—they patiently waited for us and never made us feel like we were arriving long after their working hours. After a long and exhausting train journey, this thoughtful attitude was especially appreciated.

Romantik Hotel U Raka is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in Prague. The hotel has a cozy, old-world charm that makes it feel really special. Each room is unique and full of character, with a mix of historic details and modern comfort. Mr. Paul and Magda are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Magda's breakfast is delicious and served in a lovely setting. The location is perfect—quiet, yet just a short walk from Prague Castle. If you want a stay that’s charming, relaxing, and full of personality, this is the place.

Having the facilities to make coffee in the room would have been appreciated.

The stayment at Romantik Hotel U Raka was verys special for us. We enjoyed it from the frst till the last minute.Our room was set up till the smallest detail and felt very comfortable.The breakfast and breakfast service is just outstanding.

Not every staff member gave us service/help at the same high level.

A bath would've been nice a room only had a shower. Apart from that everything was fantastic.

This was the most adorable place I've ever stayed in, in a historic part of Prague, we could walk everywhere, and our hosts were wonderful. We will return.

We couldn't get in until late at night (which they were fine with) and while there were drinks available to purchase, it would have been nice if there'd been some snacks.

Authentic small farm house not far away from the Vitas Cathedral. Beautiful old part of Prague in a cozy neighborhood with walking distance to all historic buildings. Staff is very friendly and the room was adorable.

Everything was just perfect – unique design, comfortable bed, clean and quiet rooms. And very beautiful, we couldn't stop taking pictures :)

Maybe a curtain in the bathroom could be great (I understand that no one can see us, but psychologically it bothered us a bit). But it's really nothing compared to the overall exceptional experience ?

Tasty and varied breakfast. Very charming building, privacy guaranteed. Warm and cozy inside the room. The location is perfect to explore Prague, it is at a walking distance from all most important sites while it is in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood, close to Loreta and Prague Castle.

It’s a pearl, amazing ambience, perfect service, Magda was always at our service and besides baking delicious cakes, preparing homemade breakfast, she also helped us in other issues, such as parking etc.
