Cons -

- The rooms and the building in general were cold, when we complained they said they couldn't do anything because the heating is central. There are no towels, to get them you have to pay an extra deposit. The room wasn't cleaned, we were there for a whole week and our room wasn't cleaned once. The bathroom and toilet weren't cleaned either. The shower cubicles were clogged and full of dirt and hair. There was noise 24/7.
- Facilities were very dated and was quite far from the city centre. Spaces were kept moderately clean but nothing was inviting to hang out and be social like you would expect from a hostel

Second time at Hostel Dakura, I'd definitely recommend for everyone. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice check-in experience, location is not at city center but easy to tram and metro, restaurants and brewery nearby and also a small market. The shared bathrooms are clean enough.
It was close to public transport

Near to train station. Reception is kind and polite.
The place is kinda noisy as can hear people talking beside our room. I think wall is made of flywood. People walking in the hallway can hear also. I can say for me not a comfortable hostel to stay.
Staff were very helpful. Bath Towels and hairdryer were provided at reception. The room was warm and comfortable and the property felt secure. We were delighted to realise that we had a wash hand basin in our room. The toilets and shower area were kept clean. The shower had plenty of hot water and had good pressure. Tram and underground stops were within 5 minute walk of the property. Approximately 2-3 stops got you to middle of city. As our flight home was in the evening, we were allowed to store our bags in the luggage room until we were going to the airport. For the price we paid we found it to be great value for money.
We have very few negatives… the curtains were thin and so allowed the light in a little at night and from sunrise in the morning the room became bright. If this bothers you bring an eye mask.
Friendly and helpful staff.Spacious if spartan room.Good position Toilet, showers and kitchen on every floor.
The room was cold at times. The bed wasn't very comfortable
Attention to detail, kitchen and nice rooms
The pillows are not nice, and cleaning ladies start cleaning to early and make to much noise
Stayed for 1 night in mid-December in a single room without bathroom. The room was surprisingly spacious, with all the furniture you may need (desk, chair, two tables, sofa (!), wardrobe with a mirror, table lamp). Linen and a small towel were provided. The shower was shared but clean and smelled of chlorine (the smell of cleanliness). Also, kudos for the thoughtful disposition of showers, with a small cabin to change and hang your stuff and towel in privacy but not in the shower itself!I did not use the kitchen but spent a few hours in a "quiet lounge" which was indeed quiet. Overall, pleasant experience.
The lighting in my room was dim (good there was a bright table lamp!). The bathroom could use more lighting over the sink, as well as disposable towels or a hand dryer (i know its a hostel and not too fancy, but still). The wifi was somewhat wobbly, could be better.
It is a well priced lovely simple place, with very nice employees. Exactly what you need to stay a few nights in Prague. Easy to access with the tram 8.
Our room was a little cold, theoretically we could have ask for more but it was not a serious issue. Oh and the neighbors were really loud in the morning but this is their fault.
The accommodation is in a great location — it took only a comfortable 20-minute walk from District VI to the Old Town. There is a metro, bus and tram stop nearby, along with plenty of shops and restaurants. The staff were very kind and helpful, the interior design was pleasant, and I especially loved the courtyard!
The soundproofing was very poor — I could hear not only what was happening in the neighbouring rooms, but also noises from the corridor and even from the upper floors. I understand the use of central heating, but I wasn’t happy with it; the room was almost cold (although I could have contacted the reception about this, which I didn’t). The room was equipped in a rather minimalist way: apart from the bed, shoe rack and desk, there was only one glass and a hand soap. A kettle or a small fridge would have been a nice addition.
Everything was fine. We’ve stayed at Dakura four or five times already, even once for a whole week. A good choice for this price — clean and close to the metro and bus stop.
Nice location, just a few minutes walk from the metro. Grocery stores within convenient walking distance. Nice, helpful lady at the reception, I think her name was Gabriela.
Two of the electrical outlets in the room didn't seem to work. Not much of a problem though, the others did.
Private room, pretty clean. Enjoyed our stay, the bed was comfortable but we didn't get a double bed as advertised. Rather it was two single beds put together. The sink in the room was a nice touch, didn't need to leave the room for simple hygiene.
The rooms atmosphere was pretty depressing but it's expected from a hostel. One big drawback was that the doors are not very soundproof, we could hear the couple in the other room having fun... very loud.
Comfortable room, nice place to stay. Very quiet at night.
Very expensive for what you get.
Staff were helpful and pleasant, the room was spacious for a single and the showers were always hot and powerful. Great location.
Not sure, it was excellent for what I paid.
Mostly friendly staff, beautiful hostel, quite clean
Could do with some more showers and toilets per floor
The location, close to public transport stops
We could not charge easily our mobiles. No plugs next to bed. No shower gel provided in room with private bathroom. I was expecting when you pay for private bathroom also the wc to be private.
Superb
We were late checking out of the hotel by only 10 minutes. The receptionist, I don’t know her name, she is a bit overweight, treated us poorly. The rest of the hotel is very good. The location is a bit far from the city center, but it’s okay.
