For 2 people travelling it has good value, one highlight is the location, right around the corner you have the tram station and subway station to move around easily. The staff was also very helpful but at the same time a bit confusing, more details on what I didn't like
We received a message a day prior that we would be receiving our key card at another hotel which was nearby. It was uncomfortable since we had to carry our luggage from one hotel to the next to do our check in. But the staff in the other hotel was super helpful. Room was ok but bathroom, especially shower was a bit dirty for my taste
The location has a tram stop outside and the parking was available although at a price. It was clean but missing basic facilities.
The reception desk was not working for 1.5 days , there was no hot water and was managed by nearby Oya hotel and thus had to call them everytime something was needed. There is no AC which we had not checked but also no fan available. The reception girl tried to in late evening but the staff from Oya was rude and said not my problem. If only some basic things can be fixed then it can be a good option to stay. Especially in this hot summer
Convenient &safe location for taking local bus to airport very early in the morning
Small bathroom
The location is great is right near with the subway C line within five minutes of walk which takes you to the center. The rooms are big enough, and there was a fridge that kept everything super cold, which was a bonus on these hot days.
The check in even though it was easy if you’re arriving late past 11 o’clock at night, you’ll have to go to another hotel, which is nearby around 7 to 10 minutes of walking to get the key and do the check-in and then walk right to your hotel. But when you’re arriving that late in your new or for the first time in Prague, this is just too tiring. Another bad thing that I would mention which was not really a dealbreaker, but kind of feel weird. It was the smell of the room. I think it’s because they use carpets in the room and when their room is closed, they kind of release this smell, which seems like old wood or clothes or mold or something like that, but if you open the windows for a little bit, it clears up. Also, for my stay of three days I never really saw anyone at the reception desk in our hotel but that might’ve just been because I woke up and walked out early and then just came back late.
clean, cozy hotel :) very friendly staff
nice friendly staff, Great to have a fridge in the room! A bit expensive parking, but rather to have that peace of mind than searching something else...
The smallest TV I have ever seen in a hotel room, hidden in a corner. Not a problem, as I was not here for watching TV, but still...
modest but clean, great value for money
reception was closed and we had to go to a different nearby hotel to pick the key.
Bad
The facility is a complete disappointment, the gentleman at the reception is extremely rude, cold and incompetent. He can't even see the reservation information in front of him. He gives 1 room key for a 2-room prepaid reservation. Then there is no bed in the 2nd room he gives ?, the sheets are dirty and unmade on the floor. Instead of apologizing, he calls us to the reception and gives us another room, there is no hot water in that room, we absolutely cannot find a solution. The receptionist tries to communicate with us with a sarcastic attitude. Despite our insistence, he does not tell us his name. We recommend that you never visit this staff as long as they work here, based on our extremely bad experience and victimization.
We loved our stay in Otar, location is really great, next to metro, bus and tram, all goes to center even during the night. Rooms were very comfortable, clean, there was a fridge in every room, which was a positive surprise:) The area is quiet and it’s really nice if you want to have a good sleep. Definitely recommend. We were only missing a kettle in a room to make some tea/coffee, the rest was excellent;)
Only the location
The hot water did not work at all and the hotel could not do anything in return to fix it.
The location is near to the tram or metro stations that you can easily reach the city centre from. The rooms were clean.
The towels were pretty old, even if they were clean they started to tear apart while using them. One of the rooms from the higher floors was pretty cold (due to some window issue). Unfortunately the receptionist was not able to do anything about the issue. It would have been good to have and offer some extra heater.
Location is convenient. Option for a breakfast buffet. My room was neat and clean.
Good size, clean room with comfortable bed. Good value for money.
Had to go to another hotel close by to check in, a little inconvenient and confusing after a late flight.
check-out at 11:00
it was quite cold in the room, even though heat radiator was really hot.Front door, tables in the hall, all glass surfaces could have been cleaned.
