The location was pretty decent

Lack of AC. Loud street noise at night. Curtains couldn't close all the way.

The bed and shower was good, it was decent place

For price and service quality, i would expect a kettle and a few coffee or tea bags to drink or one bottle of water.

The property was close to shopping and to city center

Did not feel safe. The windows did not lock, one window didn’t even close. There were people drinking and yelling outside my window past 4:00am. There was loud talking outside the door in the hallway at 3:30am. The ac didn’t work. There was no one to call. No one at the front desk. The extra lock on the front door was no deterrent either. The cleaning people just walked in the next morning without knocking. I found another hotel and left could not spend an extra night there. I told the front service clerk the next day when I was checking out but she didn’t seem surprised. She had no reaction at all.

Close to all transport and easily walk to major historical monuments.

Should have a TV in the room to get news in English language.

Hotel is a bit dated but is kept in tiptop shape. Room was cleaned daily and despite the busy road outside, the sound proofing worked well. The area is very local with lots of restaurants around. I never felt unsafe walking around at night.The lady at the reception was very hospitable. I didn’t catch her name but she provided me with all the information I needed even before I asked. She gave me a really nice first impression of not just the hotel but of Czech people in general.It is near a green line station (Namesti Miru) and the location perfectly matched my needs as I wanted quick and easy access to the airport and to the sites I wanted to see in the city center.

The reception closes pretty early and the late check-in is quite an adventure, but it works.

Hotel was clean & staff were friendly. Location ok it's a walk to the old town & all up hill on the way back.

Got charged a lot more paying on arrival. Extra charges for city tax, other add ons costing more than agreed.

Great location near Náměstí Míru, easy access to public transportation. The room was pretty large with bathroom and hallway separated from the main bedroom, which is good for privacy when lodging with someone else. Staff was responsive and helpful. The air conditioning worked very well. Great bistros around the corner for breakfast. I recommend Marthy's Kitchen or Mezi Srnky. Get there before 10:00 to beat the rush.

It is common in Europe in older buildings, but the elevator goes between floors. One must always use stairs in addition to the elevator. Parking is a bit of a problem. Entering and exiting requires the assistance of the front desk personnel, who must enter a code to open the doors. The passage into the courtyard from the street is very narrow. Simply an average sedan must retract the side mirrors and drive very carefully through the stone passage with very little room on either side. It is also inconvenient to arrive with the car. One must find somewhere to park before going into the hotel and finding out where to go, as it is not obvious. Hotel staff are helpful, but they are only at the front desk for certain hours ending at 20:00. If you return with your car after that there is no one to open the gate. My room was on the top floor, which means part of the ceiling was angled downwards with windows in the ceiling. I am tall, and so standing up after getting out of the bed I had to crouch down to avoid hitting the angled ceiling with my head. There were shades on the windows, but not enough to completely block the light. Fortunately, the windows faced away from the rising morning sun. Unfortunately, the pigeons roost on the roof and make a very loud scratching noise, which is very alarming and wakes you up in the morning. There were only a few open outlets in the room. The shower is a typical European tub, which in Czech Republic means it is very narrow and raised up off the floor. The shower takes several minutes to heat up. There is no kettle in the room, no way to make coffee.

The reception at Tosca EA Hotel was excellent, and the room was spacious and clean. The housekeeping service was impeccable. Located in a vibrant creative district, the hotel is surrounded by all-day restaurants and popular spots like Coffee Nerd and a famous Greek bakery, making it a fantastic place to stay.
