Pros +
- The front desk were friendly and helpful
- The location of the hotel was great, right on one of the main touristy markets, and steps away from the main town square and Mustek metro station. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm, and the shower was always hot.
- The staff very helpful and welcoming. The location and comfort great for the value.
Cons -
- No elevator, no ac, really loud all night from people in streets. Hot water was enough for 1 person. No fridge in rooms. Price paid was nowhere near value. This is a $---/night motel at best. Basically a private hostel.
- First of all, it does not have a parking and parking garage is kind of far from the hotel. It takes a long time to drive from hotel to parking. Secondly the outside noise by the drunk people is too much.
- The room was pretty small considering the size of the bed which made for some maneuvering to fit the luggage in. It also had no fridge or microwave, which is fine as a place to shower and sleep but would be nice to have.

This is a small hotel in old town. It is in a historic building. We stayed in room 301 (Royal suite). It was very spacious and looked the part of a 500 year old building. If you want a spa and gym stay elsewhere. If you want a quaint experience this is it. We will stay again when we visit Prague.
It is 3 flights of stairs to the top floor.
It was in an area which we were familiar with and with easy access to our favorite places
Getting our suitcases up the 2 flights of stairs. I didn’t realise that the property didn’t have a lift!
Historical building, large rooms, nice staff and very clean (thank you!). Right in the center of the old town, walking distance from most major attractions. Right outside the door is a street market so it is very lively.
It has no elevator, so for us with large luggage was a little challenge ?. But then we started looking at the steps as our daily exercise.
the location is perfect. The room was beautiful and clean, the staff was helpful,
we liked everything about this hotel
Location. Reception. Service.
Friendly staffI arrived early, and since the room was available, the receptionist allowed me to check-in early.I GREATLY appreciated it
Photos are always funny. So I didn't expect the room to be sooo tiny. Also, this has nothing to do with the guests - incredibly noisy till early Sunday morning because of the enthusiastic visitors OUTSIDE.Location, location, location. Lol.
Beautiful rooms, amazing nice staff. A big suite for cheap.
The noise from the streets all hours of the night. The toilet seats weren't comfortable, no fridge in room, missing garbage can in bedroom. Reception closes early, by 9pm
It was clean and cozy.
There was some noise coming from the streets, especially if one slept with the windows open, but it is not a huge inconvenient,
Very good location, closed to the Staroměstské náměstí. The room is good and clean. The reception is very enthusiastic and helpful!
Helpful staff, great location, clean remodeled room
Hotel is under renovation
Lovely decoration, exceptional location
No elevator available , too noisy
Great old luxury interior. Clean. Outside noise is blocked by the double windows. Worth to pay.
Noise from the stairs. Small room size.
We loved everything about this stunning place. Location is more then great in a heart of Praha old town, Lidl 3 min walk and billa 5 min walk from the hotel, shopping area 1 min walk, to all sight-seen you can reach by walking.Room was big, super clean and comfy. The receptionists in a hotel are super friendly and helpful. Next time surely will choose this hotel again.
All was great
Nice bed linens, comfy bed. Lovely helpful staff on the desk. Lots of hot water
Staff not often around. Loose wire on the bedside lamp - daren't turn it on. Beware that it is in the noisy, touristy part of town - but the windows are well-insulated.
The location was fantastic so central to all the major sites, being a few minutes in any direction to see everything you need to see over a short break. The twin beds were clean and comfortable and they were made every day.The cost of our room made for a very affordable stay away!Fab coffee shops 2 minutes walk and daily market.
There was some loud noise from the street below during the night even with the windows closed. This is only to be expected as it is such a vibrant city. It may be a problem for some people as you would want the window open for fresh air.We still managed to sleep as we walked so much during the day. There was drilling for some improvement works, the staff did apologise. And next time we will benefit from seeing the improvements.
? Economy (4/5)Prague Golden Age Hotel offers great value for money. The room rates are budget-friendly compared to other centrally located hotels, making it an excellent choice for travelers looking to save while enjoying a comfortable stay.? Location (5/5)The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Prague, just a short walk from Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and Wenceslas Square. It’s ideal for sightseeing, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. Public transport options are also easily accessible.? Type of Room (3/5)The hotel offers historically styled rooms with antique furniture, adding charm and character. However, the rooms are a bit dated and small.
? Technology (2/5)While the hotel offers free Wi-Fi, the speed can be inconsistent in some rooms. There are limited power outlets, and modern conveniences like smart TVs or USB charging ports are missing. If you rely on strong internet connectivity, this might be a minor drawback.? Cleanliness (2/5)Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily. However, some areas (like carpets or older furniture) shows significant signs of wear.
