Hotel Hastal Prague Old Town

This was our second stay in a year, I brought my parents this time and they couldn’t find one fault. Staff are amazing and incredibly knowledgeable, food is wonderful and the location is the best! Highly recommend Hotel Hastal, I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else in Prague.

Great location in Old Town so close to everything. Old school charm and helpful staff. Decent breakfast, wine for free and coffee/hot chocolate station. Room was small but well appointed so everything you need. I stayed in a single which was perfect for solo traveler.

Central heat so can get a little warm in the room but nothing cracking a window can’t solve.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and even though it was only for one night, everything was just as wonderful as last time. The staff is lovely and helpful, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is very good and the location is great. It’s our favorite hotel in Prague.

Thomas was an exceptional host. He was friendly, knowledgable, engaging and sincere. The facilities were beautifully maintained in the art deco style. The breakfast provided food for every taste and food of high quality---a lovely display of care. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Hastal.

I can thing of nothing that I would change during my stay.

Breakfast was good. Loved the hot drinks machine and access to coffee whenever we needed it. Loved the ambiance and history of the hotel. Location was excellent. Room was quiet. George at the front desk was especially helpful and friendly.

Maybe one or two front desk employees weren’t so friendly.

The breakfast, location, and staff were fantastic. We appreciated the luggage storage when we checked out and the beverages offered on our arrival.

The room was very warm and the only way we could figure out how to cool it off was to open the window.

Beautiful and spacious hotel in great location. We really enjoyed the beauty and history of the hotel, and the fact that it is family-owned for several generations. Our room was the perfect size for three people. All staff were welcoming and friendly.

The room got very warm at night. It was a bit pricey, but it was a holiday week.

I loved the location. Everything in the old town was just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The reception was open 24 hours which made it easy to come and go as a family of 4 with different itineraries. The big lounge near reception was ideal to relax in or wait for family members. An ulimited supply of hot chocolate, coffee and tea helped to warm us up between outings. The big variety of foods at the breakfast buffet catered for everyone in our family.. I loved the sleep pilows. They were super comfy.

The rooms were slightly small but we did not spend much time in the rooms.

Beds are quite firm. I think if I ask for a spare duvet I could do used that to pad the bed a bit more for a more comfortable sleep. But that's on me for not asking!

Everything about our stay was perfect at this hotel.The location, the decor, breakfast and especially the staff (Yana) who was extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Its no longer a secret, this is one of the most charming original Czech - owned hotel in the heart of old town Prague. Easy to reach by central train station, We have been returning to this lovely place again and again. It is suitable for single as well as family holidays, exploring the old city center with so many attractions in walking distance. We love this quiet spot with elegant flair of historic Prague. The breakfast has been updated with many more dishes and jummy local pastries. At nighttime the bankers bar offers a special menu of signature coctails, excellent and laid back service without the hustle of going out for a last drink. The concierge service was excellent too. Thank you! Hope to return soon again !

Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is good. There's free tea and coffee 24 hours near the reception. The room is very clean especially the bathroom. Close to the town.
