About
Hotel Élite is housed in a building dating back to the 14th century. Originally a Renaissance house, the building underwent a significant Baroque reconstruction, with later additions of Classical elements such as a staircase and a mansard roof. Guests can still admire the original Baroque beams, wooden ceilings, paintings, and stucco decorations in the rooms and hallways. The building was first used as accommodations in 1723 on the occasion of the coronation of Charles VI. Today, it offers all modern amenities including the 24/7 Front Desk. Each room with attached bathroom comes with free Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV, a safety box and facilities for making coffee or tea. Parking is available for an additional fee and has to be reserved in advance via a hotel reception. The hotel is located in one of Prague’s liveliest areas, full of shops, theaters, cinemas, restaurants and bars, just a few steps from public transport and within walking distance of the city's most significant landmarks, in a place that also witnessed the famous Velvet Revolution. At the same time, it is tucked away from the busiest crowds in a side street, offering guests peace and relaxation - whether with a drink at the hotel bar or the hotel garden, soaking in the unique atmosphere of this historic location.

Pros +
- Hotel is located on a hidden street where you won’t experience any disturbance from tourists or traffic noise. Despite the dated look, hotel provides good facilities, like heated bathroom and stable wifi, and the buffet breakfast with a reach choice of options. It was also nice that hotel provided tips on when to come for the breakfast in order to avoid waiting time
- The location is perfect. It was a 10' walk to the main square. You have a big mall and tube station next to the hotel. The beds were very comfortable. We arrived in the morning but they kept our bags until the check in at 3pmVery good breakfast.
- Very central, great breakfast, rooms small but spotless & warmVery convenient to all the tourist areas & fabulous restaurants & cafés
Cons -
- Lack of a writing table in the room; shower did have issues wit hot water
- Bar staff could have smiled and been friendly. Shower space over bath was very small and I kept banging my elbow on the shower door stopper. Don't know if other bathrooms are the same layout but larger people could find the shower size a bit challenging.

Cute room with little entrance way with bedroom and bathroom coming off it. Very quiet hotel. Comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was AMAZING! Great selection, fresh produce, cakes etc and freshly made to order omelettes. Special thanks to Petr on Reception - such a lovely man, great sense of humour and very welcoming. We missed him when he wasn't on duty. Hotel is in easy walking distance to the Old Town, Charles Bridge, the National Theatre and Lesser Town. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Prague in the future and will also recommend to friends and family. Thanks for a great stay! :)

We liked the staff, the location and cleanliness
Didn't stay longer
I loved everything: breakfast, clean rooms, lovely staff, location. Will definitely stay here if I come back to Prague.
Clean, great location 1 minute walk from closest tram stop. Great breakfast selection.
We went in February and it was snowy but the heating was controlled centrally and we could only turn the radiator off in the main room and not the bathroom so it was too hot in there. That is the only bad thing for us, for others this would have been fine.
Great location, massive comfy beds, generous selection for breakfast, staff are friendly
Beautiful rooms, great location close to station
Hard bed, lots of noise from cleaning staff in the early morning.
Good location, helpful staff, good breakfast, but rooms small.
Very nice staffs, comfortable room and bed. Location is quiet and beautiful and a nice walk to the Center/old town. Breakfast was great!
Friendly staff, ambience of the building and location.
Inside hotel was way too warm, especially in rooms, breakfast area and lounge areas !!
The location is fantastic, close to the Old Town square and easily accessible. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay , accommodating us even after check out. The room was clean and warm and tidied daily by staff.
We booked a double room and were given two single beds with single duvets. Maybe this is cultural?
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Elite Prague. The hotel is well located in the old town and is a great base if you want to get out and walk easily around the town to see many of the interesting sites. The staff are friendly and welcoming and were very happy to help with recommendations for everything from where to eat to what tram to take. The breakfast was delicious and we loved being able to try a wide variety of local foods that the staff explained to us and the menue changed a little each day. Our room was warm and comfortable when we arrived, and the porter was happy to bring up our bags for us. Our room was small but not tiny and we were very comfortable sleeping. We asked for two rooms close together, and the hotel accommodated our request. On our last day the hotel was happy to look after our bags for the morning while we went to explore some more. Before our stay the team was great at answering our questions.
The breakfast choices were excellent, room prepared every day plus fresh towels Location was brilliant for all we needed
A junior suite should have a thermostatic shower valve, not diverted from the taps which caused temperatures to fluctuate according to demand from other users.Breakfast room needed attention
The room was always very clean, and the breakfast was 10/10.The location couldn’t be better; walking from the hotel, you can get anywhere.
The staff was always very friendly, but the person who checked me in didn’t seem very empathetic, That’s just how I felt when I arrived.
The best so far in Europe. Especially breakfast and cleanliness of the room. Location of the hotel is also excellent, you may walk through every attractions.
Clean, accessible to the famous landmarks and good quiet ambience
Very central and very comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding. Super helpful front desk staff
Actually - nothing, it was great for a base to explore Prague and v welcoming
Everything was absolutely perfect! The whole staff was welcoming, accommodating and always smiling! Everything was clean and the breakfast was delicious. The location is the biggest selling point. During our whole, we didnt need to use any bus, metro, tramway because we were located in the heart of everything we wanted to see! we could walk everywhere.
The only tiny downside is that the walls are pretty thin and the rooms/hallways echoey, so we could hear everything that was going on everywhere, at all times. But in this case, the good definitely outweighs the bad!
