- My wife and I stayed at Hotel Bella for 8 nights in late December. Overall, it was a decent stay with some clear 'pros' and 'cons' that future travelers should know about.Location & Transport: This is a strong point of the hotel. The access to public transport is great, with the Metro and three different tram lines very close by. It’s perfect if you want to stay outside the busy city center. It is near a road, but with the windows closed in winter, noise wasn't an issue.Breakfast: A big upside! The included breakfast was well-varied for a 3-star hotel. They offered a great variety, including eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, cereals, salads, and plenty of options for sandwiches.Staff: Contrary to some older reviews, we found the staff to be very nice and helpful. The front desk is manned 24/7, they speak English well, and we had zero issues with service.Comfort: The bed was large and very comfortable, the room was spacious enough for two people, and it was consistently warm during the cold December nights.
Cons -
- Room Condition: The room is definitely due for renovation. While it was clean on the surface, the carpet had old, deep stains. There was also an occasional sewage smell coming from the bathroom.Bathroom Issues: The water pressure in the shower was quite low, and the radiator in the bathroom would occasionally make a very loud vibrating noise.Amenities: Be aware there is no fridge or microwave in the roomIn summary, for the price and the quality of the breakfast, it’s a solid choice for a short stay. However, due to the maintenance issues and lack of certain amenities, I probably wouldn’t stay here for a long duration (8 nights). Great for a budget-friendly base to explore Prague!
- Nothing (as most Czech hotels, the rooms aren't air conditioned, but I've found their supplied fans to be adequate).
- Despite booking 6 months ago, I was put in a terrible attic room which I had to access via a dangerous ladder. I am disabled and can barely manage ordinary stairs. I had to carry my bag up the ladder. I could not stand up in the shower due to the sloping ceiling covering half of it. The bed was Austrian Twin and not a double as I had booked. The room was way too expensive considering all this. There was also no WiFi in the room.

It was a pleasant stay with Hotel Bella. Budget friendly hotel, and they provide complimentary breakfast.
Simple, beautiful, clean, comfortable

It's clean, simple, and comfortable. I always enjoy staying here.
Friendly staff did their job as best they could

It was a cosy hotel really comfortable for a family and the breakfast was amazing would definitely recommend!
Our room was structured like an attic so taking a shower was a bit difficult because you had to bend down to shower. Also the hotel is pretty far away from the city center.

It’s clean and that’s within minutes to public transportation.
It’s located by a busy road. With the bedroom windows opened for cool air at night it could be noisy from the cars driving by.
The room was warm and clean, the staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating.
There were ants in the room, but we didn't speak to the staff about this. If we did, I'm certain they would have helped us out with this.
The room was really good and clean. It was definetily price / performance hotel. We have a clean room with nice breakfast and we left happy the hotel.
Very close to the subway station, which is very convenient; a quiet and clean neighborhood. Hot water and clean sheets, average breakfast.
We paid in advance for a triple room of 24 m2 with a double bed and a single bed.Upon the arrival, we received room no. 25, which was maximum 12 m2, had two single beds and a very tiny couch. When I told the receptionist this is not what I paid for she told me it was nothing she could do because the Reception Manager will only return after three days (when we were supposed to leave). I was very disappointed by the accommodation as well as the staff attitude. I do not consider it good value for money, either. All the furniture and amenities do not reflect the reality and everything should be restored/refurbished in order to match the description and the pictures on Booking site.
Nice location for transit, nice staff, super clean, fabulous breakfast, safe parking place
Breakfast was good and good connection to city.
the image of the hotel and the reality did not match. the water pressure was so weak in the morning that I couldn't take a shower. the bathroom requires sanitary repair.

The equipment and cleanliness of the room was completely adequate. The staff is very kind and helpful, and the hotel is in a very good location. The terrace is a special plus.
A refrigerator in the room would have been nice, and unfortunately there are no gluten-free baked goods at breakfast. But these are just little things. We had a lot of fun. We will definitely be back.
Nice location to metro station
The photos are only for illustration. It is looking like on the photos, but beyond renovation.
Fine breakfast, polite staff, clean room
Unfortunately our stay at the hotel ended up with a disaster. The hotel parking, that we paid for, was not monitored. The camera overlooking the parking was not working. In the morning we found out that someone broke into our car, smashed a window and stole our luggage. We didn't leave anything of high value in the car, but still - loosing our clothes, child's toys and Christmas presents was sad. Especially, that it wasn't the first time it happened on the hotel's parking - as we were told by the locals. It seems that the non-working camera at the parking is just to give a false sense of safety. And paying for such a parking and not being warned by the staff - it is off.
Reception staff was good and helpful. Very clean hotel, room service was amazing, very warm to compare and comfortable bed. Location was easy to find, nice restaurant was near by, so very positive experience overall.
The lady in the kitchen was not very friendly or understanding, our plane was early in the morning so we came 6.53 a.m for breakfast ( which was starting at 7a.m) and she was telling us off for being too early… although breakfast was very tasty every day
