Nice Excelsior Centre ville by HappyCulture

Great location and price. Friendly staff. Free coffee and water was a nice bonus. Bed was very comfortable!

Sheets were clean but underside of mattress was soiled. Floor was dusty. Shower curtain had mildew smell. Room lights kept flickering and eventually one of them went out (other three were fine after that).

The king bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure.

Neighborhood was very run-down and hotel seemed like a 2-star in terms of decor. Definitely not a 4-star.

The room was spacious and overall looked nice. Bed was comfortable.

There was mold all over the bathroom walls and ceilings.

It was very close to the train station, the staff was helpful, bilingual, and friendly, the breakfast was convenient.

So close to train station makes it great for exploring . Charming boutique hotel with super breakfasts.

This was a great value for the area, everyting was moderately walking distance and the staff was very friendly.

The bed was very uncomfortable, the room was smaller than expected and the area it was located in was not the nicest.

The staff was rude. The room was claustrophobic, they said that is the room we got because we bid on it. Tub clogged for 4 days after asking to be fixed on first day, water up to knees. Breakfast was ridiculously expensive.

Room Amenities and Aesthetic

Location was very good to anywhere in the city as well as other destinations such as monaco and cannes as it was next to the train station. Close to all attractions. Mr Dragan and Angel were friendly and helpful. Clean, safe and provides what is needed.

Lovely garden and pool. Extremely kind and welcoming staff.

Our room was on the main landing next to the elevator and it could quite noisy at night.

Location, excellente condition, convenient accessible. Family perfect

The staff and the bed comfort. Location. Breakfast was good too.

Staff is very helpful and friendly.Complimentary coffee and filtered water. The location is good for travelling by train to town nearby.

Angel was so helpful and kind - really made it a great stay. Room was ample size and bed very comfortable.

Location

Check in was slow and late.Bathroom drainage had bad smell and shower cubicle door didn’t close tight so floor was wet after showers.

The property was great ! The staff members were super friendly and always available to help. The location was perfect, 2 min walk to the Nice Ville station. Above all the room was perfect and had no flaws !

Everything was perfect so couldn’t find any flaws

Convenient location, responsive staff, nice breakfast, the room was a good size, the atmosphere was pleasant.

I liked everything.

Very kind staff, perfect location, good breakfast, cosy room with enough space for family with teens.

very helpful staff, especially the French receptionist guy, helped us with every request there was. great continental breakfast

Good breakfast, accomodating staff, nice and quiet neighborhood and strategic location. The hotel is walking distance to the city centre and there are several good restaurants around the area.

The handwash basin was clogged after one use but it was fixed right away. There were two dead cockroaches on the bathroom floor on our first day, but nothing more after. The air condition was not working so it was quite warm in the room at night.
