Hotel Le Grimaldi by Happyculture

Chose this hotel based on reviews, did not disappoint! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. 5 minutes walk to the promenade, 10 minutes to the old town. Deluxe room, loved the decor, plenty of room. Would definitely stay again

Toilet was very small

We could not have had a better experience! The hotel was well located near Old Town Nice, the beach, the flower market in Nice, fabulous restaurants and even a grocery store for essentials. The staff was incredibly helpful. Truly terrific!

Good value for price. Free coffee. Location very good. Staff friendly.

I stayed in horror and uncomfort because 4 people got in to the room while I was out and locked themselves inside despite no disturb sign was hanged on the door . When I opened the door , one of the men was laying on the floor under the bed .

Good location walking distance to restaurants and Vieux Nice and the promenade.

The a/c in my room wasn't working and I asked twice for someone to look at it. No one did that I know. My room faced the street which was noisy so opening a window was not a good option any time of day. Breakfast was good especially the fresh fruit but the croissants seemed packaged.

No English tv channels

Although small the room was comfortable and cosy. The location was great with close proximity to most areas and walking distance to beach, resturants and shops. Friendly staff and water and coffee bar was convenient in lobby.Michelin Star resturants next to hotel and variety of Patisserie ( Maison ARMAND) in area is a must try.

Breakfast could be better as the variety was limited and the same each day. The dining area was quite small and crowded with tables very close to each other which made manoeuvring around quite difficult.

Concierge was truly excellent, every member professional, friendly, helpful. A joy to be welcomed by them. It's not a sleek, no-personality hotel. It's charming, comfy, clean, a cozy lobby with free filtered water, coffee, tea. I never care about breakfast but this one looked as good or a better than usual (no restaurant within but many close by). I LOVED my room. I don't know if they're all as great but it had such a good feel. Housekeeping was lovely too. Great place to stay, I'll be back, more than once.

Can't think of anything that was missing - concierge even came up and reprogrammed my tv after a few days when I was ready for some English language news. Maybe a movie channel would have been nice but that's really a non-issue.

The hotel was lovely, breakfast great with eggs, sausages,bacon, many different breads, cheese, meat, fruit! Etienne the desk clerk was awesome, he served us drinks in the little bar in the lobby. Room was large, bathroom was lux with huge tub and shower and double sinks. Plenty of room for all our toiletries. Marlise worked the breakfast room and cleaned rooms also. She so sweet and accommodating! My husband left his hat at breakfast and she saved it for him until the next day! Nothing not to love. Location was perfect! 10 minutes walk to train station and Old Town Nice, 5 minutes to Promenade de anglais! Perfect!

Loved everything

The hotel is perfectly located, easy walk to Vieux Nice, the promenade, great restaurants and good shopping. The staff was exceptional in all categories.We will definitely return.

Good location and friendly staff

The room felt like a storage. We entered through the breakfast area. Our room was opening to the breakfast lounge it was very loud when the staff were preparing the breakfast. I could have booked a 5 star hotel for the same price by the coast. I choose here because we thought it was authentic but ended up staying in an annex building ,where you enter from an attic.

The location of the hotel is excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Breakfast was amazing, staff so nice, great location close to everything but quiet at night. Wish hotel had gym facilities. Did not have a gym, but had other nice amenities like a towel warmer, separate shower from toilet (which was helpful for family of 4).
