Le Dortoir Boutique Suites

The location was perfect. Short walk to the beach and right outside the door was amazing restaurants to choose from. We felt like we were embedded in the heart of Nice. Very high end shopping to be. Easy access to destinations via Uber or public. Very modern room that made you feel at home. The king size bed was comfortable an added bonus. The espresso machine and refrigerator was lovely to have for morning and evening drinks. The hammam (steam shower)paired nicely with the huge tub was excellent. French doors opened to the square below made it picturesque. The narrow balcony made a quaint setting for the evening cocktail hour. There is no lift so you will get a bit of exercise. The hotel name is not displayed on the outside but the address will get you to the correct door. As Americans we like Air Conditioning, at times we made it too cold, this facility was amazing!!! We would definitely stay here again, many good memories were made.

Fantastic room, exactly what the pics look like! We were on the 5th floor, no elevator but we knew that going in. We had room #501 and we had 3 sets of terrace doors. Looking to the right was the sea and to the left were the mountains. Great location, easily accessible to beach, rail system, bistros, stores!

Checking in was a little difficult. Their was a hotel sign that was not Le Dotoir.

Great location. Comfortable bed in a room that was quiet and easy to get dark. Coffee maker and mini fridge. Excellent shower and sauna was a fun bonus.

The smell of someone cooking in the building in the corridor sneaked even into the room.That was not a good welcome.We knew there is no lift. It is a small staircase, not super clean, and walking up with large luggage was not fun.

This was an absolutely beautiful stay! We enjoyed the hammam and sauna suite so much. There was a clear attention to detail in design and materials. It was very clean and the location was top notch.

An amenity like laundry service would have been nice to have, but absolutely does not change our overall feeling of the stay.

Amazing location close to beaches and old town with an easy walk to the train station. Beautiful, spacious room with great furnishings and tons of light.

Stairs could be tough for some

Everything; location, furniture's style, cleanliness, stuff help.Highly recommended and I wish I extended my stay in it.

NO lift, our rooms were in 3rd floor with 4 big bags.

The location is prefect. The facilities is new and well maintained, really good quality and the design of the suite is excellent.

We were able to stay in one of their brand new rooms with a balcony. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. The owner of the hotel is very kind and easy to get ahold of if needed. I really liked that the room used a pin number and we didn't need to carry a room key. It was in a great location, near many shops and stores. It was about a 15 minute walk from the Nice-Ville station, but there is also a tram stop that is a short walk from the hotel. We loved the soaking tub! The AC worked great and it had a mini fridge too.

The only downside to this hotel is that there isn't a lift, so you'll find yourself going up multiple flights of stairs. There isn't much they can do about this. However, the owner helped us carry our luggage to our room and it was worth it for the excellent experience we had!

Amazing location and very easy check in. Bed was comfortable and we loved the balcony!

No elevator if that is a deal breaker for some people.

Amazing room and amazing location. Especially for the price. Sauna and tub and balconies were fantastic

WiFi is unprotected so immediately got many and repeat hacking attempts. Luckily my computer blocked them all but made WiFi unusable.Also didn’t provide clean sheets or towels, just re folded them when they cleaned the room. Manager/check in experience was not very hospitable. Was like 30 seconds and no one to help with bags. Was just talked at for the walk up the stairs and that was the end of it. Construction on going and locks didn’t feel very secure because of that but we figured out that everyone had unique locks to the main door. At first we were concerned that all the doors used the same code so anyone could access any room.

The room was just as expected, comfy beds, spacious room and the hammam/shower was incredible. We were lucky to be on the second floor so didn't have to deal with a long climb up to our room! Check in was really smooth & the building/room is accessible by a personal code system which is super helpful not having to deal with keys. Overall, we had a great stay!

The fridge in the room wasn't particularly cold & there was a small issue at the end of our stay - we left our suitcases & communicated the time that we would need to collect them and were told that we could use our code to get into the room to retrieve. When we arrived at the time we stated, the room was locked with no one on reception & the code didn't work - another guest had the same issue at the same time and we had to bang on doors to try and get someone to come down (which in a joint residential building probably wasn't great for other people!) It did get sorted after about 10 mins but we were worried that we were going to be late for our flight!

The Hamam in the room was an unexpected surprise.Location was great, really close to the Old Town and Beach.Bed was great and the bath was epic.

Storage. We had about 10 hangers hanging from a frame resting against the wall.For a room of this quality, I expected a lot more.Heating. We struggled to get the room as warm as we'd liked.

Excellent location, lovely room, great cleanliness and lovely staff. The room had a luxuriously comfortable bed and a great rain shower. There were lovely touches of art-painting on the wall figure in the hall and decorative touch added to the television set on the wall

Stairs without a lift. However I knew this at time of booking and I did get a room on a lower floor when I requested it

Loved the clean modern open plan room with hammam bathroom. The bed was very comfortable The steam room was great after a full on day of sightseeing. The hotel is perfectly positioned for exploring the city with easy access to public transport. There are lots of restaurants in the streets around the hotel. It was a quiet area too. You couldn’t hear any street noise in the rooms. Really recommend this hotel. We will be back.

I suppose the stairs may not be for everyone but we knew that before booking. We were on the fourth floor.

Tricky to find, no car drop off.

The apartment is located at a central location - very convenient. It is as good as shown in the photos, very beautiful spacious and clean. The staff is very good that he helped to carry my luggage after I checked out.

The only drawback I can think of is that the apartment is on 4/F and we needed to carry out luggage and walked up the stairs.

Location was very central, ideal for shopping.
