Mercure Nice Marche Aux Fleurs

Location is an amazing value due to the location. The location in Old Town is ideal and also right across the street from the beach. The staff was very accommodating with luggage storage and helping us with the room type we needed for our 3 person party.

location across from promenade/beach and backs onto "old town" markets/restaurants and bars. Very well situated.

It was great location and very easy to get around Nice.

The first room I was checked into was dirty. Bed was unmade as someone had just slept in it and there were dirty towels on the ground

We loved being right on the promenade and found it was just as anticipated from the pictures. The room was adequatly sized for a short stay. We were surprised that even with all the noise outside that it was quiet enough inside so that the sound was not intrusive. Having a balcony and a table to have a little snack at while watching all the action on the promenade made the splurge all worthwhile. We were pleasently surprised that we had a little fridge that was not advertised. It was nice to have a free drink in the fridge upon arrival.

There was no place to put clothes such as a shelving unit or a dresser, only one shelf in the closet. There was no place to hang a towel in the bath.

Water over flowed in room through out night. Hotel staff asked to keep Air conditioner in Not Working mode.Slept without Air conditioner. Zero value for paid amounts

Nothing is there to like

Location was great. Overlooking the beach and a short walk to all the nice restaurants.

Rooms were slightly small.

Great location, really happy with my room, Breakfast was great, staff very helpful and welcoming. I had a minor problem with my bath this was sorted straight away

The room I’m staying in is significantly different from what was shown in the pictures. The ceiling height is less than 1.9 meters—I can easily touch the ceiling when I raise my hand. However, the pictures showed a much higher ceiling. It feels like I’m staying in an attic. Also, there’s no mini bar in the room. It’s obvious that this is a loft-style room that has been split into two separate rooms. Yet, the hotel front desk insists that the room I’m in is the same as the one shown on Booking. lol

Excellent location, check in, comfort. Staff helpful with directions and booking cabs.

Bit of a lack of storage in room, but this is Nice where rooms are smaller.

Perfect location!

AC was meh. Normally I would not point this out, but I’ve had better AC at a cheap hotel in Rome. Could have been better, but could also have been worse. Still an excellent stay!

The hotel was facing out onto the sea, an excellent location. The bedroom was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very good. All the staff we met were extremely polite and helpful.

On booking we were concerned to learn that there was no lift; but really this was not a problem. only 3 floors and we were on the ground floor.

Room was a good size. Hotel was by the beach. Lots of nice cafes and an open air market nearby.

I paid cash for some items but was billed for them later. The staff took it off my bill though, so it's all good.
