SLO Hostel Nice

Clean, well set-up with good mattress and privacy curtain.

Feel more like a hotel than a hostel, possibly because I was there during low season.

Everything was spotless, staff were very helpful, location is ideal and central, beds are comfortable and the room is spacious enough. Facilities such as lockers, fridge, lobby, showers are spotless.

I've stayed for 7 nights as a remote worker. Very stylish hostel, you see they try to make it nice in various ways. Quite clean, nice common area near the reception to work. Location is good and very central.

Didn't like that when one time in the morning I saw that there is no toilet paper in one bathroom, scanned QR code which said report this and it will be fixed in 15 minutes (that's very cool system btw) - and what's the result? On reception a group of workers, one guy and two girls chat loudly and pay no attention to this report I've made, so 30 minutes passes and nothing is fixed. I think they've finally added toilet paper after 40 minutes or so...AND - it's NOT social at all, like completely. Don't expect to meet anybody as common area is structured in a way that there are tables along the wall, everybody is just minding their own business sitting there, no common place where evebody gather like big table or something. I've had no chance to struck a conversation there, as well as basically didn't see other people do that.

Hostel is very close to the Nice Ville Gare so convenient when taking day trips. The bed was comfy. The hostel does have lockers for bags which is also convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Bathrooms could have been a little bit more cleaner but this is also dependent on other folks who stay at the hostels. Bathroom & Toilet combo room on first floor, the shower kept getting plugged. Also the key card when trying to use it after the door was locked had issues but worked the second attempt.

Walkable to everything while still being not right in the middle of the touristy chaos that can be Old Town at night. Great facilities and very clean. Super nice staff.

The Hostel its extremely well located from the train station and the supermarkets. Everything was perfect, specially al the people that work in the reception! The bed is very comfy, for sure I will stay in the same place if I will go again! Kudos to all.

The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of both the railway station and the beach and old town. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the building is aesthetically pleasing. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service.

The hostel is located within walking distance of pretty much all points of interest within the city center. Staff is very accommodating and friendly, rooms are comfortable and clean and prices for breakfast and drinks within the hostel are also fair. Nothing to complain about on this first trip to Nizza.

Absolutely nothing to complain about. The only thing would be that the view from our room window was a bit boring, but that's to be expected when you get a room on the first floor of a building that is surrounded by other equally tall buildings.

It's a really cute hostel, the room was comfortable and the bed had a curtain for privacy, and the facilities were generally clean. The location is fairly central (close by to the main street, Nice train station and other public transport), the staff were nice and welcoming and were available for anything at any time. The paid luggage storage also came in handy before our check in.

The storage compartment in the room was a bit small (had to squish my trolley and backpack) and there weren't really other surfaces in the room to organize things. Also it was a bit pricey for the location which was farther from the beach and old town.

Customer service was great, rooms were clean and had decent privacy.

Did not like the automatic motion detection floor lights in the room or the gap at the curtain top from the bottom bunk. Wish property was more food friendly and had a kitchen.

I was disappointed with the condition of the bathrooms, which were not very clean. Even after reporting it, it took a long time for anything to be done. I also didn’t appreciate the way my room change was handled they weren’t able to move me into the new room before the check-in time, which was quite inconvenient.

There was mice in my room and I went to complain about it and nothing was done. This honestly ruined my experience and I’m very upset that this happened. I expected better.

Location is perfect - close to Jean Médecin. Staff are kind and helpful. It is very clean everywhere, if there is something wrong with the bathroom you can let them know by QR code and they’ll fix it quick. Beds are comfortable and fresh. It was really quiet and private in my room and nobody really felt like talking but if you want to socialize there’s space for that downstairs. There are many toilets and bathrooms on each floor so there are no queues.

I had upper bed and the ladder was uncomfortable to use. Also, some additional shelves or hangers in female room would be useful as there is too little space for stuff (for example I didn’t have spot to leave my swimsuit to dry).

The staff was incredible and went out of their way to make me comfortable. It’s a quiet but social hostel. Be prepared to jump over luggage to get to your bunk.

It could use more storage so that Luggage wasn’t drifting into walk areas.
