Hôtel du Petit Louvre

Didn’t stay here as I saw reviews of drug addicts outside the apartment and as I’m a female solo traveller realised there was no way it was safe for me after reading these written after I had already booked. Requested a refund due to my safety but was given no understanding and was denied so lost my money. Shocking that money was more important than my safety. A bit of care and decency wouldn’t go a miss!

Location and clean

A perfect example of a budget hotel. Central, clean, everything works, nice staff. The kitchenette helped me keep my costs down. Several supermarkets are within 5 min walking. Internet worked well. The WIFI issues mentioned in some older reviews have definitely been resolved.

If they could put some rubber feet or something on the bedposts so that the bed stops sliding around the room every time you move, that would be great. Minor, but annoying.The shower is very tiny. For me as a fat guy, it was a bit difficult.

The location was fabulous near all amenities walking distance to beach and right in the heart of shopping area. Railway station nearby. Howeve rthe room was very small but all amenities were available.

My room, however small, had everything, including even a tiny kitchen. Fantastic.

There was no blanket, so a little cold at night.

The room was comfortable and clean.The staff at reception is amazing. Available at all hours . Door bell for service is available at street level. We were able to leave our luggage at receotion -free of charge after check-out. Thank you Lorenzo and Benjamin.

Handy location, small but full of character. Offered all l needed for a short stay.

Excellent location in a really central area of the city. Access to trams, supermarkets and restaurants. There's street parking (paid) and free from 8pm-9am and on Sundays. Staff at reception were lovely, very helpful and good communicators. Room is tidy and comfortable.

Location is great, 15 minutes to the seaside, 5-10 min to the train station. Fridge, microwave and kettle in the room, so you can make breakfast. A lot of shelfs and hangers to put your stuff

There was no plate to eat something. Cleaning service is not free (10€). Walls are really thin and noise from outside and from other rooms can wake you up at night

Close to station and tramline. Had a lift. Very nicely renovated. Pretty pictures on the staircase walls and in room. Kettle and microwave available in room. The person at the reception desk was very friendly and welcoming.

A charming apartment in the center of Nice. The staff is friendly. The apartment has everything necessary for a pleasant stay.

The bed is actually a sofa.

The room is very small, the bed is very uncomfortable, there is no lobby and there is nowhere to sit while waiting for check-in. Not recommended

It's a 1 star hotel, so don't expect too much. The staff was very friendly. For a short term stay it's fine, but I wouldn't book a 2 week vacation here.

Great location near the main shopping street, beach is not far, clean room, very nice staff. The room was clean. We could leave our stuff at the reception after checking out.

The room is very small, but i think its reasonably priced. The bathroom has no door, only a curtain.

Sink didn't drain properly. Bathroom light kept cutting out. I told them about it but they didn't take any action.

Great staff. The hotel is centrally located in a safe area. There is a Lidl supermarket nearby. The room has a mini kitchen, everything was in working order.

The room is small, for one person it will be comfortable, for two I think not.

The room had everything, a dryer, a little kitchen and cutlery, which was very good for our staying. Also its very well located and you can move around the city by walking from there.

The avenue seemed a little sketchy but its actually very safe.

Very good location

No photos shown of single bedroom felt like Harry Potter when he lived under the stairs. The kettle and hot drinks offered were kept in the bathroom next to the toilet. Not hygienic, mould in the shower.
