The nature, the room size, breakfast, friendly and hardworking staff

The ground floor rooms’ terrace need some sort of separation between rooms to have more privacy. The noise isolated between rooms could be better. Some furniture could be renovated.

Nice pool and cozy restaurant.

The bed was not the best for me and the fire alarm woke us up early.

Fabulous. Lovely tranquil location atop a hill. Welcoming staff. Super comfortable room. Wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great value for money!

Loved everything

I liked the good design and proper facilities everywhere, the place does not look tired. The terrace in our room was as big as the room? the staff was friendly.We also loved the cats that randomly sleep everywhere in the hotel!? the restaurant served not bad food for Xmas lunch and had a beautiful location. The best housekeeping I have seen in years, kudos!!

Breakfast could be more interesting. Pool is not heated. Could use more wardrobe in the room. No international tv channels.

the area where the hotel was is fantastic, near Nice but on top of the mountain, in the small town of Colomars.

I think they could improve breakfast.

The auberge was homely and welcoming. A late arrival was possible. The view over the pool and garden was lovely. Great breakfast. Extensive car park. Excellent communication before the trip.

The shower screen did not rest fully against the bath. Wet carpet near the door to the terrace.

The decoration is very nice. Old furniture and design. They have good restaurant for dinner

Location of the hotel is beautiful. Well landscaped, beautiful restaurant terrace, great pool and common areas. Service was friendly and helpful.

Room design and decor require a major update for this price point. Our bathroom was extremely old and falling apart. Chipping on the walls and tiles. Old and small bathtubs that were hard to even stand in for a shower. Carpets need to be removed and updated. Maid service forgot different items each day, whether it be coffee pods, towels, wiping surfaces. Pool area could use a drink / food service.

All the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to be helpful. The swimming pool and gardens were a really brilliant bonus.The food was very good, breakfast was very good and dinner was too, although it would be good to have had a change in the menu if you’re there for more than two nights as we were.

There is nothing to dislike about this property. We should have booked a room with a balcony though

Beautiful property, clean, great staff. Busy winding road to access was no problem, plenty of parking, lovely pool-not much sun in late afternoon due to large trees, beautiful lounge & dining areas, stunning veranda.

Not enough flat surface to put suitcases if not unpacking due to short stay only but plenty of wardrobe space. No soap at basin, only in shower.

Very nice and charming hotel. Nice decorated, great breakfast, very nice swimming pool. Dinner at the restaurant very good. Everything was perfect.I will definitely go back when I travel to the Côte d’Azur.

The street down to Nice. There is one street with a lot of turns but the owner told us that there was another, more easy street , with less turns, which I took afterwards to drive to Nice. That one was ok. But i wanted an hotel outside Nice, so it is actually not a problem of the hotel…. I just wanted to explain that there is no easy street :-)

That we needed to leave so early ?

The bed was extremely comfortable. The swimming pool was relaxing and elegant. The bathroom was excellently designed and the views from the bathroom windows were stunning. Really appreciated the tea and coffee in the room.

At dinner both of our main courses were overcooked (maybe being British they assumed we prefer all our meat and fish overcooked despite ordering a rare steak and thon mi-cuit) and the dessert portions were rather small given the price point. There were some good things but overall dinner was disappointing and it seemed we were treated less favourably than the locals who had come to dine.

The pool doesn't have shower facilities, and the access to the pool had some uninviting water to cross.Breakfast seems to be on a first come, first serve for some cakes and cold meat; but plenty of very nice bread, pastries, fruits, honey, and jams. It could happen that you have to ask for mugs and plates; but the staff was really helpful and attentive.The bed was a bit noisy when you were just sitting on it or turning, but comfortable.The WiFi in the room was interrupted a few times.
