- Yes we thought we prepaid the rooms and actually was told at checkin that they we are prepaid but at checkout they said they were not prepaid. So there was some argument and we finally just paid again.

Beautiful set up and most helpful staff.
The staff was amazing and so incredibly friendly! The location is absolutely perfect. My favorite hotel I have ever had the privilege to stay at!

Location and uniqueness
No, it was perfect
Cannot say enough nice things about this property. From the location, to the beautiful design and attention to detail, to the lovely rooms and excellent breakfast, everything was truly exceptional. Most of all, however, I want to acknowledge the absolutely lovely service at The Post. Everyone there was welcoming, helpful, and professional. One of our party unfortunately had some medical needs from an accident off-property, and we were treated with such kindness and care from everyone on-site. We can’t wait to return to The Post in the future.
Everything was excellent.
The location was outstanding. The building was beautiful and had a great historical vibe. Great attention to detail. We loved the proximity to the many restaurants, tram and train station. The bed was comfortable and the Champagne at check in was a nice touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful
I don't have any suggestions for improvement.
I loved the thoughtful design of the hotel and all the historical details. I loved the rooms especially the bathroom. The designer/owner has impeccable taste.
We were there during the music festival which turns Gent into an incredibly noisy garbage can. That one the hotel’s fault but we barely slept as a result.
Excellent location, Maybe the best for tourists in town. The room was so beautiful and romantic and the view from the window also. If i travel in Ghent again it will be my only choice.
It was a little difficult to have the bathroom in the upper floor and the toilet down.
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was incredibly attentive, helpful and kind. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were incredible. Every little touch was not only thoughtful, but impressive.
Nothing!
I had an amazing stay at The Post Hotel in Ghent. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city, and the building itself is beautiful and full of character. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well designed, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt warm, elegant, and relaxing.
Honestly, there was very little to dislike. If anything, the stay felt too short because everything was so enjoyable. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again.
Everything. Staff, location, room appointments, breakfast.
Location, staff, service level.
The building is gorgeous. The attention to detail throughout the room was great. Shower size was great. Staff was friendly. Great location. ** I am adding to my original review - I want to say I have never stayed at a hotel where there we so many details - from the scratch card to turn in at checkout - which gift turned out to be a power bank to the ornament to take home . Whoever is in their team working on this deserves an applause. **
That the bathroom was upstairs in my room type and that the toilet in the main level didn’t have a sink.
We stayed in the one-of-a-kind turret room which was like Rapunzel’s castle bedroom. There are 360 degree views, it is a hexagonal room with high ceilings and medieval windows, bathroom with his and her shower jewelry, and a curving stone staircase winding to the top like a snail shell. Spotless but vintage. Gorgeous room! Breakfast was very special. Lots of thoughtful amenities too.
I cannot think of any negatives unless one is unable to climb stairs.
The location is great. The staff members are extremely helpful and friendly. I loved the coziness of the hotel.
I liked everthing about this hotel.
Everything. Location. Comfort. Staff. Amenities. Historic hotel. Amazing "Honesty Bar." Breakfast.
Nothing. One guest thought the bed was too hard.
Staff was friendly and professional. Enjoyed the bar - the gentlemen there were engaging and knowledgeable. Victor gets a specific shout-out for his classy friendliness and interest in his guests.
The light switches at the bed confounded us for days. They need to be marked to ensure the guesswork. We may have known that the sink and shower were upstairs when we booked but didn’t remember that. It was a hassle. Wish we had the option for all one level. But again, maybe that was communicated and I didn’t remember it.
The theme of the property was very nice
Difficult to find the entrance, not easy access with a lot of stairs
Everything! Just fantastic—the location, decor, staff, food options, comfortable bed/bath.
