The bathroom was quite large. Breakfast was fine.

The room was quite small. Also, a renovation of the room should be considered.

The location was good and the personnel was kind.

The bathroom was moisty and the shower was leaking.

The breakfast was great and the location of the hotel is fantastic!

The bed was super uncomfortable, the water pressure in the shower is terrible, almost impossible to use the shower! The room was always full of mosquitoes!

A basic hotel but which offers most facilities - TV, wifi, private bathroom - that I would expect of any hotel with the plus point of a very central location. Friendly staff available to help out and breakfast is available.

Room and bathroom are compact, in line with the price, and would be tight for two people sharing.

The couple who owns the accommodation were absolutely wonderful and so friendly and pleasant. The facility was beautiful and the beds were so comfortable! The views were amazing and the area was so safe. Highly recommend this place! The breakfast was delicious as well!

Location, staff, room, bar, breakfast

Steep stairs but only a minor consideration. Staff were very helpful in dealing with them. I only mention it for people who may have difficulty with stairs.

location was good right in the city of gent.

did not receive good communication how to enter or passkey until i borrowed a phone and called, wrong room key it opened the room next to the one i booked which had someone in. beds was it comy,room outdated bathroom tiles was loose. tv stopped working in the night.

Locatios is amazing!Design and details are lovely. Seems they are renovating and it worth it. Breakfast was very good, customer service was lovely. Bed was delicious!

-Friendly receptionist and communicative-Room size is actually for a single person. The double bed makes it extremely small. -Right in the city centre. Everything is so close.

-I booked and paid for a room with TV, but there was no TV in it (due to new TV arrivals)! No one informed me in advance and it's not professional to apologise after the customer notices it. No compensation.-Problems with the Wi-Fi. I had access to it for 1 day. Afterwards, problems occurred. Again, no information regarding fixes. Without a TV and Wi-Fi the hotel part of the trip is already ruined.

Great, clean room for two people. Fantastic large bathroom. Only about three minutes from a main square, so very central but in a quiet area. Very friendly staff who gave us a kettle when we asked for one. Luggage storage was easy.

When the room next door uses the water it makes a humming and then a banging noise.

Good breakfast for 12€ and location, 5 mins walk from city center. And that’s about it.

Old building and worn out, smells of mildew. Not clean at all. The stairs steep and small which had noticeable dirt that stayed for 3 days unswept. Felt a bit overpriced! For 3 days noone cleaned our room or changed the towels. Our bathroom was tiny, the door was squeaky. Shower room had no space to turn around and very very worn out. We were on the very top floor with lots of stairs to climb.

Not clean, noisy, no air conditioner, no kettle, no sleeper, a small closet that even we couldn't use it as it was placed in a very small space in a bad direction, no facilities in the room. we stayed in another very good hotel with only a little bit more money. 4 out of 10 only for the staff and location.

We didn’t have a good time; we couldn’t sleep either night. A group of men arrived around 3 AM and started shouting, running, playing, and throwing things—both nights. They also tried to enter our room BOTH NIGHTS. There were many of them; they were big, drunk, and spoke a language I didn’t understand, so I was too scared to go out and ask them to be quieter.This kept us on high alert the whole night, making it impossible to sleep.It’s unacceptable that there was no one to handle this situation. If we hadn’t locked the door, what would have happened?In addition, everything was half cleaned, and in our room we didn't have even a wardrobe or a drawer.

The personal, they were super kind and offer us guided for our time in the city.

The bed was actually two small bedd together and were moving all time. Also the smell in the bathdroom coming through vent (kind of smoke)

Hotel is very welcoming, always warm, traditional old Ghent building..real sense of history, perfect if you appreciate fascinating old buildings.

Well unfortunately the sewers on the street outside were being replaced and causing a very soiled road surface to take into the building on footwear....I didn't mind the noise but some might... apparently another couple of weeks to complete.

Close to the center. Tram was also close by. Staff were great at leaving the key as I was a late arrival. It was a very quiet street.
