Absolutely stunning hotel! 3 story Hotel room with 2 full bathrooms. Beautiful decor with artwork and antiques blended perfectly with modern amenities. Would absolutely recommend this hotel if visiting this area. Walking distance to museums and restaurant

Beautiful historical property, wonderful welcoming staff. Amazing location across from the palace and Boboli gardens. Great soaking tub. The market on the second Sunday of the month in Santo Spirito was great! (Pictures of the Boboli gardens and front of the hotel.)

Bathroom is a little small but fine for European standards.

A quiet, relaxing and charming accommodation with fantastic service. Loved every moment of our stay surrounded by exceptional art pieces, personalized approach and just an overall feeling of connecting to history. Wonderful breakfast, cozy bed, walking distance to all major sights, amazing restaurants and shops (Pitti Palace is literally around the corner).

The location just around the corner from the Pitti Palace is surprisingly quiet. We walked to all the sights, only needing a taxi when arriving and leaving. The breakfast was perfect for us, lots of choices and available for 2 hours. The staff was kind and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and the entire place has beautiful spaces and furnishings.

After staying at Casa Botticelli, I can not imagine staying anywhere else in Florence. It is a uniquely elegant, extremely comfortable, perfectly located home away from home. Giacomo and everyone there made us feel welcomed, and were extremely accommodating. I loved this place.

The breakfast was amazing. We made sure to not book any tours during breakfast time from 8-10am since it was one of the hi-lights of our stay. It was very nice to relax, enjoy the beautiful ambiance, drink tea/coffe, and read a book, etc. Roberta made sure we had plenty of coffee/tea and she was constantly restocking the buffet to make sure everyone who came encountered a fabulous setup. Roberta was very kind and hospitable. The complimentary access to fruit and snacks throughout the day was a nice touch. The location was perfect for us, right by Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery. Access was easy even though we arrived after 6pm. Roberta messaged us via WhatsApp on the phone number provided in our listing. First door code opens both the front door and the metal door inside the building simultaneously. The second door code to the reception area will buzz, and the door has to be pushed open while the buzzing noise is audible. This is an amazing stay, and we would love to stay here again if we come back to Florence.

Amazing hidden gem in the lovely neighborhood of Santo Spirito. Right by all the best restaurants and near the Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palazzo. Large bedroom, lovely décoration in keeping with the florentine héritage and style.the best place to discover Florence. A few minutes walk from the restaurant Le Volte, the absolute best place to eat in Florence and from Edoardo il Gelato Biologico Gelateria Ponte Vecchio, the best gelato in town.

When we arrived to check in, we had to wait about 20 minutes as there was no one at reception. A cleaning lady kindly tried to assist, but the main receptionist was nowhere to be found.The hotel’s recommended parking was off-site and cost €35. When we parked and mentioned that we needed to leave early for a flight, no one informed us that the parking facility would be closed until 8 a.m. on Sundays. Opening hours were never mentioned, either by the parking staff or the hotel. As a result, we ended up waiting outside for it to open and had to rush frantically to make our flight.On a positive note, the room and hotel overall were very nice. However, the cheap metal four-poster small bed was noisy, wobbly, and detracted from the otherwise pleasant room—a real shame.

The accommodations and the staff were PERFECT. It's a gorgeous building and the staff member Roberta was an absolute pleasure to work with. She really cared and made everything wonderful and we miss her already!

Unique decor of the rooms.

Did not have 24 hours front desk service. Although we received an email with instructions, we checked in after 6pm and it was hard to figure things out.

Casa Boticelli is a wonderful and historic property, and Giacomo was exceptional as both a host and guide of the area. He went out of his way to help us understand the neighborhood and house - was a great stay!

Some noise in hallway at night with other guests entering and exiting their rooms but would not keep me from staying again

I thought the second gate entrance was not adequately explained, difficult to get into.As a family of six the elevator was very small, most of us had to walk up 2-3 flights of stairs dragging our luggage up those stairs. No one came down help. I think that is a problem!

There was nothing I didn’t like

I stayed at this hotel last year and loved it so much that I decided to come back. The location is perfect—just near Palazzo Pitti and close to Piazza Santo Spirito, a great spot to sit, relax, and enjoy the local atmosphere. On Sundays, there’s a fantastic market. It really feels like you’re experiencing Florence as a local, rather than just as a tourist.The hotel itself is in a beautiful historic building, not a standard hotel but more like a grand home. The rooms are decorated with antique furniture and artwork, and there are wonderful books on art throughout the house. It’s all very tastefully done, and you immediately feel welcome. A bottle of wine is waiting in your room when you arrive, and you can make coffee whenever you like.Breakfast is excellent, served in a lovely room with great attention to detail. Everything is also incredibly clean—fresh towels every day, and the hotel itself is kept in perfect condition. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and overall, it was just a fantastic stay.Casa Boticelli is more than just a hotel; it’s an experience!
