    • The staff and owners who were kind and very friendly. They will even give you a lift to the train station for a small fee.The breakfast was amazing I. The outside courtyard. Our view of the courtyard was so pretty and super quiet.
    • Location
    • Great Location and Good breakfast and was helped by the hotel management to find a ride back to the train station. The hotel was just walking distance to one of the most touristy spots in Firenze and the nearby connecting train station to Milan.

    Cons -

    • Overpriced, multiple single beds in room,
    • The room furniture and fittings were a little outdated and the bed was not very comfortable. One of the employees at the desk was a little rude while answering to my questions. The neighbourhood could get a little discomforting later in the night in certain patches.
    • Rock hard bed. Noisy walls I could hear the coffee machine at night. Also no drink making facilities in room, had to pay 3 euro for a cup of tea! The lady at the night desk could of been friendlier, she was quite rude and abrupt.

The location is great, overlooking indeoend3nce square and is a 10-15 min walk to the Duomo. Quirky interior, very italian in style. Breakfast is nice with a good selection of pastries and drinks. Overall good value for money. Lovely helpful man in reception in the day.

Stayed 3 nights / 2 rooms - The hotel is in a prime location at Piazza Indipendenza, just a 10‑minute walk to the Duomo, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. For those arriving by car, access is surprisingly easy even during ZTL hours since the hotel sits near the northern border of the historical city centre. Parking is available inside the hotel’s garden area—handled by young gentleman staff during the day and self‑park in the evening as the lady is on duty at night. At €35 per night, the rate is comparable or better than public parking in Florence, and the private garden setting feels much safer. TRUST ME!Our room on the top floor overlooked the Piazza park, offering a lovely view and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and fluent in English—contrary to some negative reviews we had read beforehand. Their warmth made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s design and décor are authentically Florentine, with original furniture and charming old‑world details. This gave us the cultural experience we were looking for, and at this price point, it felt like excellent value.Breakfast was simple but satisfying: boiled eggs, omelets, a selection of hams, and delicious cakes for dessert. The highlight was the quality coffee and hot chocolate, which set the tone for a great day of sightseeing.A comfortable stay with authentic charm, convenient location, safe parking, and genuinely kind staff. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone seeking a true Florence experience. John Wick's elevators/staircase COOL!

Bring plug adapters for your notebook / mobile phones - a bit dusty / curtains / old furniture / closest / doors creaking sound, goosebumps. 555! slow / no wifi signals

Hotel staff were friendly, and the hotel is easy to get to from the train station (10-15 min walk). The spot itself is perfect to just leave your belongings and start exploring. Staff gave me a really nice two floor room, the beds were comfy, the A/C worked just fine and it was very clean. I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The breakfast was good too.

The location is great. Paolo in the reception is very warm and welcoming! The vibe of the old sophisticated Italian room vibe is fantastic.

    Cappuccino

Bad and not professional staff. Especially Cecilia.Very rough and not polite . She doesn’t know how to approach the guests and she shouldn’t work on this field, at least not as receptionist. I am so sorry for the owner, but he has to open his eyes. You can contact me for details, it will be my pleasure to describe the welcoming I got!

The location is good, staff polite and friendly, rooms were nice. We were happy to be able to check in early and leave our luggage for an extra hour after the check out.

Breakfast was okay but fresh bread would be nice

It's very old money type of aesthetic hotel , so people who's into vintage stuff would really love the interior of the hotel. Staff was friendly. Location is walkable distance from the cathedral and center. Overall very good experience

Breakfast was average / not really good.
