Excellent location, beautiful residence, great staff
The room was a bit outdated, but otherwise very comfortable. The breakfast and staff were exceptional!
Charming hotel near the Boboli Gardens. Loved the garden views from our room. Morning breakfast overlooking the pool and gardens was lovely. Friendly and helpful staff.
We loved the space that this hotel provided, the room was spacious and traveling with friends there was a place to sit and gather.
The distance from the city center was a a challenge in the rain and required a taxi. This became expensive after a few days.
Property is in a relax location and not that far way from the city. The breakfast is really good and complete from protein to pastries.
The location may seem a bit far to walk to after a day of walking in the city center so consider you might need a taxi after a long day.
The setting of the villa was quite beautiful. It was a well-cared for private property that had been in the family for years. The breakfast was sumptuous and totally delicious. Very generous.Juliana, at reception, was extremely welcoming and gracious. She was friendly and very helpful with everything. She is an ideal hostess!
To be honest, the beds were not wonderful. Both of us had problems with our lower back after two nights on those beds. They need replacing. The pool area was glorious and I wish that the weather had been much warmer so that we could have enjoyed it.
My husband and I stayed here during our wedding and it was wonderful. We were given a room with a gorgeous terrace overlooking the hills beyond the quiet yard. The breakfast was delicious -- loved starting our morning out in the peaceful garden overlooking the pool. The room was better in person than in photos. We loved it and will come back for sure!
If you don't have a car, it's a little bit out of the way from the city center. Easy walk downhill but coming home at night not as easy.
Without exaggeration, one of the best hotels my fiance and I have ever stayed in. We feel this not necessarily because it is particularly luxurious or upscale - while it more than deserves its 4 stars, our experience was made by the wonderful staff, who were all so warm, professional, and attentive - from the front desk to the breakfast and bistro. The property is filled with charm as a renovated villa, and it was a wonderful place to relax and feel like you were in a peaceful place outside of the city while still being near it.Guests who may be visiting Florence for a short amount of time may want to weigh the fact that it is a bit farther from the city center and attractions than other options - by foot, it's about 30 minutes, and while a bus stops right in front of the hotel, it only comes every 20 minutes or so. We were there for a full week and were grateful to feel like we were staying outside of the city center with nature. We also usually ended up calling a taxi at the end of the evening to get back.
Beautiful place. Location was great. Staff was incredible…..friendly and helpful. Room was nice. Just what you picture when you think Tuscany.
Unfortunately our room was right next to the elevator and every time it opened and closed we could hear it. I’m sure if we had a different room it wouldn’t be a problem.
Wonderful location on the other side of the river above the gardens. Beautiful old villa makes you feel at home. Fantastic rear pool and terrace. Very elegant.
Well preserved historical building with nicely and comfortably designed public area. Love the porch and the garden & pool area. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Very good breakfast. Room is spacious and comfy too.
Picturesque place with lots of character. Comfortable rooms and very attentive staff
No restaurant on site, only snacks and drinks after breakfast.
Our stay at the hotel was perfect. It fully met our expectations and looked just like the photos. The breakfast, service, and pool facilities were very satisfying. Both the hotel and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless
There isn’t much to say. :)
The pool was lovely, the menu was limited (which we knew) but the food was great, the front desk was very accommodating.
We wished there was a full menu. The location was amazing but with only two restaurants within walking distance we wished there was a full restaurant at the hotel. The a/c was a bit weak but it was very hot while we were there. It would have been nice to be given a bottle of water each day.
It's beautiful! It felt like we walked into 1920s luxury US.The breakfast is elegant and abundant and delicious. The staff is very attentive and helpful.
The bed was too hard for us..
This was our first trip to Italy and we enjoyed the hospitality and cleanliness at Park Palace. The covered porch for breakfast was very peaceful and nice. We also were thankful for the pool as it was near 100 degrees during our 4 night stay. It is a bit of a hike uphill from Florence center, but we enjoyed being tucked away from the busy crowds. Staff was welcoming and very helpful!
Room was stuffy and hot even with the air conditioner running. We had to use the pull out sofa close to the air unit just to sleep. To be fair, it was a heat wave while here so not much to be done about it.
Staff warmth, charm and helpfulness was amazing. Elegant building and grounds. A singularly amazing breakfast experience. The bedroom was large and well- appointed and the bathroom palatial. This hotel is in a great location for accessing Florence without being in the mob of tourists. Parking is easy, free and protected- a big bonus for us!
Absolutely nothing!
Everything… the room was clean, spacious and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
