    • location
    • Staff was helpful.
    • Staff and location are great. It is close to the river and the US consulate, car rental offices, local bodegas, eateries and train station. This is a tourist hotel in an old city. It was clean, tidy and everything worked. We appreciated the elevator.

    Cons -

    • very old and bad drain but staffs are nice and very convenient to access the sightview. breakfast was disappointed.
    • The hotel was a deal where they picked for you and you could not see it before you purchased. It was supposed to be a 3-Star comparable to a Courtyard Marriott or a Holiday Inn Express. It was misrepresented. No where close and in need of repairs.
    • Beds were comfortable but furniture was worn-could use some touchup. Had to sit sideways on toilet as my legs extended beyond the wall. But bathroom was larger than in other hotels we've stayed in. I didn't expect otherwise in an ancient city.

    The location

It was smelly and dirty and worn out one star at best I noticed others have said the same thing but you still have it rated as a three star hotel no hair dryer, dirty bed spread overall crummy appearance only thing good about it was the location

    Good location, friendly staff

Very small room & bathroom, window in bathroom had outdoor vent that brought in the very smelly air from the alleyway. Old hotel. Would not recommend.

    Close to the scenic

Old bldg. Small spaces. It cannot be 3 star hotel. Too expensive.

The staff were very friendly, and the location is great, close to everything that we don’t even need to use public transportation.

The room had a weird smell to it the entire time and the shower doors would keep coming off

Location, value, clean and comfortable. Kind staff.

Very strong smell of insecticide or some kind of harsh chemical smell like roach powder inside the room ..had to open windows to air it out and had to leave for awhile to get out of the smell. Had to sleep with windows open. The room seemed clean and was comfortable.

    The location

The room felt like a dorm room. We had 4 people with 3 beds in one room. We knew what we were getting, but my kids said it was like their dorm rooms.

We had breakfast at the wonderful restaurant next door! All was delicious and staff was great! We particularly liked Frederick’s at the hotel!

We were three ladies with little space for our big bags! We would have loved a mirror in the bedroom! Price and location were great!

    Good location

Rooms do not match the photos, neither do the reviews, not sure if bad reviews are simply being deleted. There was mold on the walls, the smell of mold was very strong in the room. The beds were horrific, the double bed was essentially two mattresses that were at different heights. We had requested a room with a balcony and paid extra for it, yet the balcony was un-useable, not even a chair on it. Our door to the balcony did not shut properly, unable to fully close it or lock it, and we could hear everything that was happening on the street. The floor planks were lifting throughout the room. The toilet seat was a different size than the actual toilet, and there were boogers smeared on one of the walls in the washroom which were there when we showed up and did not get cleaned throughout our stay. The only positive thing was the location, and the fact that our room was moped by cleaning staff daily. I would avoid at all cost, especially for the price that this place cost. There was a google review that someone had bedbugs on their bed, luckily we didn’t, but I wish I saw that before booking and paying upfront.
