Hotel San Lorenzo

The location is excellent. Every tourist attraction is walkable from here. Also may restaurants are close by.

My only grievance is that it is a 4 story flight of stairs to reach the hotel. No elevator.

Let’s start saying. Access to Hotel was difficult, the HotelSan Lorenzo sign is very hard to spot on the building. It is Difficult to find the Hotel. Once you find the Hotel press buzzer, then go up at least 6 flies of stairs to reach the Hotel. Room was on the small size and beds are comfy with plenty in blankets we booked room with shared bathroom which fell private. No breakfast, nor complimentary coffee. But, provided toiletries. The reception Staff as very friendly.

Great location. The room was small. It was clean and the staff were great. The stairs were a bit of a climb on our in and outs.

The shower didn’t work properly. It was either hot or cold.

The location was right in the centre of the historical sites and 10 minutes from the train which was perfect to see what we wanted to see in Florence. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all our questions.

The hotel is located on the second floor which is a bit of a challenge with luggage but that seems typical at any hotel her

Location is excellent, close to everything by walk. If you are tourist and don’t stay much at place.

Property is not clean, it’s pretty old place.Staff won’t accommodate any request for later check in after 8pm.

very quiet and staff very helpful and friendly. If you want a true Italian experience this is a good place to stay. Everything is very neat and clean. Location is good with market right outside and lots of eating spots

The location was amazing. So close to many sights and good restaurants, and it was a quick walk from the train station. The showers, bathrooms, and towels were all clean and well-kept, and the owner was so friendly and helpful. Also, there was excellent AC in the rooms.

The rooms were slightly cramped with no place to put luggage, and it would have been nice to know about the city tax paid in cash only before we actually arrived at the hotel.

Tiny shower, probably 3 minutes worth of hot water. Not enough hot water to wash my hair, certainly not enough for back to back showers. No light blocking shutters or shades, so room didn't get dark. Lighting in room poor. We spent 3 nights at the hotel, took off for a night, and then planned on staying 1 more night b4 leaving to the airport, but the manager could not/would not arrange a check in after 8pm, so we lost a 150€.

The location was great, the room was basic but had everything needed, bed was comfortable, staff was nice.

The shower temperature was a bit tricky, either super cold or scalding hot. The stairs with the luggage are not for the weak but still manageable.

Felt just like home — highly recommended!This place truly felt like home. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. It’s a lovely boutique hotel — cozy, charming, and very clean. They assisted us with everything we needed, including letting us drop off our bags early. Every interaction was warm and polite.I’d definitely stay here again!

There was a small issue with the air conditioning, but nothing major — definitely something that can be easily fixed.

Great location not far from the main Duomo and the market at all. Amazing staff who are on hand to help sort any issues and give you a real insight into where you are and what to do.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the basic amenities I needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always greeted with a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable.The location was also a big plus — close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation, making it easy to get around. While it’s not a luxury hotel, it definitely offers good value for the price.Overall, a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

Perfect location! Walking distance from train station, San Lorenzo market and convenience store next door. Rooms were clean, comfortable and perfect for our sightseeing trip.

It has an optimal location, not even 5mins away from mercato centrale. The receptionists were really kind, they even recommended us a local restaurant (Trattoria Enzo Piero, would totally recommend it). Also on the day of check-out, we were able to leave our luggages in the hotel to pick it up later

The room we had was a triple room found on the rooftop and there were no windows so the room was humid and it was hard to ventilate the room. There was no air dryer

Nice personnel. Cheaper than other options in the area.

Very high humidity in the room. Very expensive parking. Shared bathroom is very small and the shower is not separated from the toilet.
