    Pros +

    • Location is okay but be careful with the market infront of the door
    • 1. Good location. 2. Friendly staff. 3. Comfortable bed. 4. Good AC as the weather was very hot.
    • The only good thing about this hotel was its location. Just outside the door was the Duomo and it was an easy walk from the train.

    Cons -

    • The owner is rude and creepy. He was following us to the main hotel door with his phone camera on. When I asked him if he¿s recording my sister and I his answer was unexpected. He said¿ it¿s my phone I can do what I want ¿
    • 1. Free wifi was advertised but only available at the front desk, not in the room. 2. The shower curtain was horrible and clung to you when you had a shower. 3. The toilet did not flush properly and took several attempts to clear the bowl.
    • Our stay was terrible here. I knew it wasn't highly rated, but when I booked it I ensured the room was a double with AC and I was provided a picture of the room. That was not the room we were given upon arrival and the customer service was terrible.

    Very poor experience.

The manager kicked us out the first night we were staying at the property, as he thought we were trying to trick him in some way. He promised us a refund, but then later refused to give us one despite the fact we did not stay at the hotel. Worst experience I have had at a hotel ever. DO NOT STAY HERE it’s not worth the good location.

    Very good location.

Slightly run down, no kettle in the room, unfriendly staff.

Clean, amazing location, left our bags there before check in and after check out

The shower door didn’t fully close and some water leaked on the floor

The location is perfect - a few minutes walk down cobblestone roads to touristy things, laundry next door, market stalls and restaurants all around. The staff was great and the rooms a reasonable size for the price, and the central heating works really well in the winter.

Not having wifi in the rooms is pretty bad these days, you can hotspot your phone but the signal can be weak inside these old buildings. I actually would not have stayed here if they disclosed this but that's just about the only downside.

    Good location.

There were multiple people left waiting with luggage on the curb to check-in and no one would answer the door. You get what you pay for. Everything looked used and worn out and I was nervous about bed bugs the whole time. There is a strong smell of cooking oil and food from the restaurant downstairs.

It was close to everything .24 hr available staff.

Didn’t have wifi in room. You had to go to office space

It was clean, beds were good, location is super good. Stuff is nice.

Room was a bit small for two people, but that was’t a big problem for us.

The staff were amazing - the welcome was what I’d expect from a luxury hotel, with plenty of tips and helpful information, and a genuinely kind and friendly staff member. It was a lovely start. The room was a good size, the view was beautiful and the bathrooms and room were clean at all times.

It was a shame that the bed was two mattresses pushed, but also it seems the norm across Italy. Obviously sharing a bathroom can be hit and miss, but we had no problems.

Twin bed room had a practical arrangement.

Wifi was not existant in certain rooms. Wifi is very important when travelling so it was a big deal that this hotel couldn't provide this basic service. Also, city fees should be charged in advance and not as a surprise.

Very central, nice comfy bed and good shower and spotlessly clean. Was given a double room which was very nice of the owner, as I think I had previously booked a single. Fantastic location in the centre near the main station.

    Nothing to complain about.

Nice location. It is an OK place to spend the night but that's it.

Very basic place to stay, the bathrooms are shared and they can use a more often cleaning.

    7MassimoPosted on: 10-5-2025

The location is close to the mercato centrale, few minutes walk from the Duomo and about 10 minutes walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station. The area is full of restaurants and shops. The staff is very friendly, responsiveand helpful.

Good room for one night. Very basic, but nothing to complain. Clean. You just have to follow the rules...

You just have to follow the rules... So,check-in is starting at 14. You send an email asking if you can check in early, they reply that it depends on the room readiness. Cool, then it stops. Phone, silent, so is mail... They will not tell you that it is impossible to check in early. Just stay silent... So you are at the doorstep trying to ring them, 14 sharp it opens.no reply, just they answer the door. And then the reception guy / manager explains you like you are 7 that the rules are simple and there's no check in before 14. Could have been an email a day before.

Very great location right near a lot of nice restaurants and markets. Short walk to impressive sites.

    6MichaelPosted on: 9-29-2025

It was close to the market and the main attractions of Florence. The facilities were OK. The price was high but the best in the most overpriced and overcrowded city (except Debrovnik) iI have visited in Europe.

Very noisy early in the morning from market activity and its machinery after 3am. The lift started from the first floor and luggage had to be carried up the first floor. The beds and bathroom were tired.

    3SwarnaliPosted on: 9-27-2025

Central to the location is the best part. Rooms were cleaned everyday.

Shared bathroom were not great and not advisable to take, no ac.
