Hotel Perseo

This hotel and especially the staff were awesome! They went out of their way to make us comfortable and were always pleasant and welcoming! The room was large and clean and the balcony was a perfect spot to hang out and drink our coffee.

Perfect location; clean; knowledgeable helpful staff. In addition to a wakeup call, the front desk person also came and knocked on my door to ensure that I was up at 4:00 a.m. in preparation for a 4:40 a.m. taxi ride to the Florence. Very thoughtful.

The only negates a smell that came from the bathroom

The staff were exceptional, very friendly.The location was perfect, very near the Duomo and plenty of cafes and restaurants.

The location is perfect! Less than a block from the Duomo, and lots of shopping, restaurants, museums and other sites to visit. The staff at Perseo are always available, and always gracious and willing to help with whatever is needed.

The room itself is very small, which is common for European hotels and was fine for me traveling alone; a couple or family would be very tight. There are traditional metal keys for the room doors, and the key must be left at the front desk when you leave and collected when you return, which wasn’t a problem for me (I thought it was very quaint), but I could see some people having issues with that.

Close to Duomo (can hear the bells). and all sites in Florence.

a bit expensive

The location was perfect. We were within a few steps of the Duomo and halfway between the Academia Gallery and the Uffizi Gallery, all in easy walking distance. The breakfast was perfect for us. We enjoyed the cappuccino and breakfast buffet selections, especially the muesli, yogurt, Italian bread and choice of meats and cheese. The hostess was particularly kind and hospitable. We were very happy with our room. The comfortable king-sized bed and plentiful shelf safe helped us get our rest and stay organized.

This was a lovely hotel with friendly, caring staff. It was positioned right in the heart of the city just two mins walk from the cathedral. It was very clean and was well stocked for a small hotel.

Location is ideal next to the Doumo, walking distance from the station and access to all key spots. The property itself was clean easy access by an elevator, staff with friendly and helpful and the breakfast was enjoyable.

Steps to the 4th floor are a challenge, but the lift worked well.

Room size and a notch up in cleaning

The location was perfect!

We had a ton of luggage (including a bike) so it was just a bit difficult maneuvering to get dropped off and picked up. Uber worked well.
