PICCOLO HOTEL Nel Centro Storico di Firenze

Terrible experience. No working heat or hot water, WiFi barely works, and rooms were never cleaned. Management is rude, invisible, and tries to charge extra after booking. Aggressive signs everywhere banning use of basic amenities. Avoid this place.

There was nothing to like about the Piccolo. The room was small and dingy, the shower had mold and rust all over. Have to climb up three flights of stairs. Was made to pay 10 euros for breakfast which was terrible. They provided old bread and pastries

Everything. Do not ever book this dump you will be sorry if you do! The pictures look good they are nothing like reality. Piccolo is a dump.

The location to some main tourist attractions was good. They offered a good breakfast

It was further from the train station then I realised and the wifi was not very good in the room but ok if standing in the reception area

Location is great! The staff is welcoming. Breakfast was included- which was perfect, as I was there for training and it saved me time in the morning

It’s a bit pricey, but that’s Florence near Duomo

The location was excellent and the room was clean. We were there for our anniversary and they had decorated the room for us, which was a lovely touch.?

‏The only downside was that there was no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage you need to carry it up about 20 steps — my suitcase handle even broke unfortunately.

Really good location and prize-quality relation. The staff is nice and helpful. Really good option to be a few days and visit Firenze

The location of the hotel was good.

There were no facilities such as iron, or fridge.

The area may seem odd, but it’s fantastic. You are close to everything, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Don't judge the hotel by the street; it is safe to walk around at any hour.

It does not have a lift and the stairs are longggg

Good breakfast and good location.

The room wasn’t properly clean, the toilet lid was broken, and the room had a lot of mosquitos and humidity insects. We found some insects smashed behind the bathroom door.

Close to the center. You may choose it if it is really budget friendly and you don't have high expectations.

They requested extra money for the bed for 5th person even though the reservation is for 5 people. There was no hot water in the bathroom. Internet was weak in the room.

Location and Man at reception very helpful and friendly.

The bathroom is quite old and when you wash it turns into a pool.

Near in the tourist attraction. Friendly staff. The property had a common kitchen.

Slow wifi connection. Little room for 4 person. Noisy outside. Had only single & queen bed for 4 person.

Ubication.

I understand that accommodation in Florence is expensive, but I think it is an abuse that the hotel does not have employees after 11pm, that you have to check in at another hotel and that they charge a penalty of 20 euros for checking in at 11pm.

Water was very cold.Heating is not working.Outside the room is very noisy.

Low price, personnel was polite, supportive and spoke English very well.

Dirty walls, smell, the room especially bathroom actually stinks. There are many aromatizing devices in the room (so looks like the hotel knows about the problem), but they all were empty.Also, I was choosing "parking" when looked for the hotel. So I was expecting the parking near the hotel. In the perfect world - the free parking for guests. However there is a parking 10 minutes driving away and it is not free. This just not matching the searching criteria. Also it was said that there is an option to pay later. In reality there was not.

Nothing great

No basic facilities such as kettle. We travelled with infant and they didn’t allow us to pick hot water from kitchen after 8 pm. This made things really difficult.Wardrobe legs weren’t proper. If we walk in the room the we can experience shaky vibrations.There is no proper heating system, even if the radiators are available we have to use AC to turn on heating which is in effective way and not sufficient.One of the worst experiences

The staff was great, location was perfect and price made it the best option for us!

I'm currently crippled and there was no elevator.

Everything was amazing! The staff were so friendly, the location was close to public transport and the room was so clean and comfortable

For two star hotel is ok. Near station and historical centre. Staff very helpful and friendly

The toilet very old, broken tiles, mould on the walls. For sure needs update. Beds not very comfortable.
