I am used to having a kettle in the room not outside. I was cold and there were no additional blankets

The room was big, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was great, the location was also great eventually it was a good value for the money.

There is a big shared fridge for all the hotel guests, at the day of our check out we left our luggage for storage including some food in the fridge. Everything was fine till that moment. When we returned at noon to the hotel to pick up our staff, the fridge was gone, and there was nobody to help us with that and no one answered to my massages, so we went off without the food, but it was a really unpleasant "surprise".

Everything was fine until after the first morning. Our 2nd night when we check each other we realized our problem. The twin beds had bed bugs. We then tried to layer our beds with extra sheets that they had and then we wore full clothing for extra protection. It helped but then to make worse the ac went off. Overall we had 2 bad nights. Those mattresses need to go. I hope no one else sleeps in that room until that problem is fixed

It is in proximity to all historic and famous places. Room was clean, there was a smart tv.

The host was very accommodating and responds timely to whatsapp messages. They were very helpful to me during my stay. The room is very minimal, but everything we needed was there and it was for a good price.

Check-in instructions clearly defined, so we had no problems, even if we came late at night. The room was clean, but very small, with old limited furniture. In the kitchen there is a kettle and some tea/coffee, and a fridge where you can store your food. No dishes though are provided. There was no reception or staff that I could find during day time, only cleaning staff. The location is nice, 10-15min walk to the main square, and 15 min walk from the train station. Towels, shampoo and bath cream were provided.

The room was very small, literally just a bad, a share with tiny table and a small wardrobe. Wi-Fi was slow.

My experience at Hotel Gênese in Florence was extremely disappointing and frustrating. From the moment we arrived, everything fell below expectations. The room was extremely small, as was the bathroom, which had a major issue: after taking a shower, the floor would become completely soaked, making the space unusable and unsafe.There was no reception or any kind of support available from the staff. We struggled with noise in the hotel as other guests were throwing parties late into the night, making it almost impossible to sleep. On one occasion, we were forced to confront some guests about the noise around midnight since there was no one from the hotel to intervene.The hotel’s cleanliness was also far from acceptable. It was clear that hygiene standards were not maintained. Additionally, the elevator was out of service, which made our stay even more difficult, especially considering there was no one available to offer help or assistance.The only advantage of the hotel was its location, but that does not make up for all the issues we faced. Hotel Gênese was, without a doubt, the worst hotel we have ever stayed at, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The disorganization and lack of care for guests are unacceptable.

Location is good.

The building is very old and smells of mold. The bathroom is very small and there is continous smell from the pipes. The room was very cold. They turned on the heating for few hours just on the last day of our stay (after our complains) but of course it didnt help in heating the room. I would avoid going again.

The hotel was clean,big room and easy to arrive.

It's close to everything just short destion to everything

The smell of the building is incredible and inside the room is smell, my wife has to wear a mask to sleep be cause she has asmath

Owner was very nice and kind and the room was cleaned every day.

The bathroom was tiny and according to the photos I couldn't tell.

Good location, close to the train station and main attractions. Responsive team. The bedroom had a very good size.

My bathroom's drain was clogged since the first day, On the third day it flooded all the place. The hotel team fixed in the following day. Even so, the shower is not confortable and there's no barried to the water to flow to the bedroom.

Our host provided clear instructions for accessing the property and we received a nice welcome at the hotel reception desk when we checked in. Ideal location in terms of the proximity of the main train station. The shared facilities were okay, with plenty of tea and coffee making options and a large shared fridge. Our room was a very good size and it had lots of storage space

There was a lot of outside noise at times, due to the close proximity of a main road and aged windows which seemed to provide almost no sound insulation

The location was excellent. I liked the neighborhood. Good communication between the staff and I. Good shower with a fan in the bathroom! This is a challenge in a lot of places in Italy but not at Genesi. Great shower!! Daily room cleaning!!

It smelt like sewage in the bathroom and in the hallway up to the main area. There must have been a leak while we were there.
