Everything was great. This was the best hotel we stayed throughout Italy. We both wished we could take this Hotel and wonderful staff with us everywhere we visited!

I, personally, would like the hotel to give better directions to the hotel automatically without asking. The GPS (which worked everywhere else in Italy) said we reached our destination about 1 mile away. We were lucky to find someone to help.

The property was lovely. We felt like we walked into a garden Time Machine. We loved coming back to the hotel after a busy day to such a warm relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and happy hour was fantastic. All the staff were kind, patient, and attentive.

Hotel David truly deserves an 11/10! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the historic center while still being very easy to reach by car. The free, secure on-site parking is a real bonus, and the room was extremely quiet, overlooking the hotel’s inner gardens.Breakfast is excellent and very generous. A huge thank you to Marcella, who is incredibly efficient and exceptionally kind. All the staff are friendly, attentive, and always happy to help.The many complimentary services offered by the hotel make the stay even more enjoyable. An outstanding place that I would recommend without hesitation!

A great hotel we'll definitely return to! It's very conveniently located, has comfortable rooms, and offers excellent breakfasts. Everything is designed for maximum comfort, including a veranda with tables where you can enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. And the on-site parking is a huge plus for us!

Our stay at Hotel David was fantastico! Hotel David is on the skirts of Florence, which was pleasantly warm and inviting. Checking in and out was simple and easy. The staff at Hotel David are extremely friendly and helpful. I would love to stay here again. Refreshments and food were excellent and conveniently located on the main floor. The breakfast room and patio were lovely. They offered assistance to us when we needed an early morning taxi to the airport. I would recommend any first time visitors looking for a friendly, authentically comforting place to stay in Florence to choose Hotel David. There are buses nearby that can take you anywhere. Nearby within walking distance there’s San Miniato which has leafy avenues lined with elegant villas, as well as a staircase road leading up to panoramic city views from 19th-century square, Piazzale Michelangelo. Al fresco bars fill up after dark, and many offer live music.

The facility was charming, well appointed, staff wa attentive and friendly.

I cannot recommend Hotel David highly enough to anyone traveling through Florence—book it and look no further! From the incredibly warm and attentive staff, to the delicious complimentary breakfast with a wide variety of choices, every detail is exceptional. The free happy hour, complete with food and drinks, is such a wonderful bonus and creates a welcoming, social atmosphere. Add to that the fantastic location, and you truly have a perfect stay. Chilly rooms (december), breakfast is not “fabulous” or (“favoloso”) but a standard 3-star-hotel continental breakfast (single-serve jams, butter, juice from a carton, eggs and bacon, toast, joghurt, fruit, cakes - all standard for a normal breakfast in Italy), traffic noise (next to a roundabout), a 30-min walk from the centre but it was our choice to stay here. We were lucky to have quiet neighbors but the walls are paper thin.

Hotel David is charming, clean, and comfortable. The evening wine and delightful breakfast were so nice. They even offered gluten free pastries that were delicious with jam! I can’t say enough about how kind and efficient the breakfast server was.

The staff could not have been more helpful and nice. They have a great happy hour each evening. The rooms were large and comfortable. The location is just outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone) so we could drive and park our rental car at the property. The walk into central Florence took about 20 minutes.

We are avid hikers so the walk into the central part of the city was nothing for us, but might be for some.

Hotel David provided everything we needed and more. The bed was so wildly comfortable, but the shower was the perk. Staff was incredibly helpful, happy hour was wonderful, and the location was the perfect distance from downtown while staying incredibly affordable and feeling homey and relaxed. We will stay here again given the chance!

I loved everything about this hotel, starting with the room — it was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The amenities were of exceptional quality; we even asked where in Florence we could purchase the same soap, shampoo, and conditioner. They also provided facial moisturizer, eye and lip cream, and night cream — those thoughtful details were a big plus for me. Complimentary water and additional drinks were available for guests, and a bottle of sparkling wine was waiting in our room for my husband and me. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.Very clean , location was perfect and the staff was very nice !

Everything! Friendly people, nice accomodation, perfect location, free parking. And the BEST breakfast. Highly recommended!
