the location! so close to all of the Florence museums, shopping and restaurants. also very close to the train station. we loved using the hotel as our home base. The breakfast was delicious and had many choices. the staff were very friendly and helpful

The location, nicely tucked away in a side street, was perfect for accessing all that we wanted to see in Florence. Never took a cab once except to the airport.

Room was located along an alley where scooters were parked so stated hearing scooters and talking early in the morning.

Not any issue with disliking anything but maintenance needs to get into room 16 and reseal the shower. Water leaking around the base.

Location is great. Practically right around the corner is Piazza del Duomo. We could see parts of the tower from our hotel room. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. It's not a buffet but a set menu. However, food is tasty.

The smell in the room was like garbage was in the alley or in the room. Everytime we entered the room you could smell the blast of stale garbage air. It was hard to mask.

The room, staff and location was great. The breakfast was made to order and good. Staff was good for breakfadt. My grandso had a problem ordering when he went alone which was odd.

shelves / closet in room were somewhat dusty.Staff decided to repair window in the room during our 3-night stay; we arranged to be there during the repair; however they showed up 1 hour late, took another hour, and left our door open when done.

The room was great and comfortable. Location was absolutely perfect, excellent access to museums, churches, restaurants and other points of interest. Short walk to the train station. Breakfast was very good and the service was great. Was in a beautiful old building.

So, older charming buildings have their downsides. The elevator was small and dated, which didn't matter too much since we usually take the stairs. The breakfast area felt dated and was in need of a refresh.

The property was close to everything in Florence! The breakfast was great and the staff was so nice all hours of the day!

There was no vent fan in the bathroom, so when you showed the whole room got hot. This made it very uncomfortable especially at night before bed. The air doesn’t work super well because the ceilings are so high I would imagine.

Excellent location. Hustle n bustle...but in a good way. Spoilt fir choice where eating n drinking is concerned. Be ready to walk. We did around 23000 steps per day. Best way to see Florence. Lanes and bylanes are plenty.
